Whiskey Treadwell (real name William) is a minor villain character featured in Red Dead Revolver.
Info[]
"Whiskey" grew up in an orphanage, watched over by a guy named Father Callahan. Callahan could not cope with William's behaviour when he started to drink a sithload of Whiskey and sent him to live with Father Treadwell.
According to Bartlett, Whiskey never reached Father Treadwell and instead joined up the Ugly Gang when he jumped off the train at the Widow's Palace train station.
Despite potentially never having even met Father Treadwell, William's surname is basically Treadwell somehow.
Interactions[]
During the mission "Ugly Streetfight", a shootout breaks out in Widow's Palace between Red Harlow and the Ugly Gang. After some members of the Ugly Gang are dispatched, Whiskey exits the saloon and challenges Harlow to a duel, resulting in his death. He is the player's introduction to duelling.
Quotes[]
- "Awwwww, hell, fire! AAARGGHHAAAAA!!!"
- — Treadwell when on fire
- "Arrggh, you sum of a-ughhn!"
- — Whiskey's last words
Showdown[]
Whiskey is available as a playable character in Showdown from the start of the game and does not need to be unlocked. Treadwell's special ability is that he gets some bottles filled up with nitro power that explode on contact.
Journal Entry[]
"Dear Father Treadwell:
I can not reform or discipline William in any way. He has grown too old to stay in the orphanage with the other kids, and his behaviour makes me fear for the safety of all of us. He has been known for drinking large quantities of whiskey whenever he could, and has become violent when he did. I have send him to you by train, to see if you will have any more luck with him than me. Remain with God.
-Father Callahan"
Everything seemed to have been going well until Whiskey jumped off the train at Widow's Palace and joined up with Chris.
Trivia[]
- His preferred brand of whiskey is Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey.
- Treadwell shares the same voice actor as Hank Pallman and Atlas Jones.
