Personality and traits[]
W.D. Gaster is a brilliant, mature, respectful, serious and stern scientist with good attitude. He has been so since he retired and since he became an elder and when he was younger he enjoyed creating many things. He was loyal to King Asgore, ruler of the Underground (not Hell) and enjoyed showing his inventions to him as he always complimented his skill.
However, after he was sent across the universe and to Earth, he changed as he was given teleportation powers and he started goofing around, becoming less and less professional as times went on due to seeing how easily humanity can be manipulated. His priority for Asgore also began to fall, and gotten to the point where he just stopped coming to work back to his castle. This resulted in Asgore getting a new royal scientist by the name of Alphys and flipping Gas off.
Now Gaster is mostly the same as he was before but is more laid-back, and vacation-loving due to his elder status. He enjoys mud baths, baths in general, saunas, cocktails, kissing hot women (and men), polo-playing, gambling, drinking alcohol and golfing. He dislikes his children, however and wishes to be away from them, often putting the two of them on mute thanks to his handy-dandy telephone and when they come to visit him, he pretends that he's not home and hides behind the trashcan in the kitchen.
Story[]
Gaster worked for King Asgore for many years in der Underground. He created the Core, the Underground's powerplant. In the late 20's BH, Gaster fell in love with a female skeleton and married her. Soon after, they would have a son, Sans. Several years later, they would have Papyrus. Shortly after Papyrus' birth, Gaster cheated on his wife, which resulted in her getting a divorce which suited Gas just fine. TBA... Gaster raised Sans and Papyrus by himself from then on, he was somewhat proud of Sans due to his intelligence and interest in science, but was deeply ashamed of Papyrus due to his unintelligence and goofy nature. He loved Sans so much to the point where he even made a weapon for him called the 'Gaster Blaster', similar to King Hark's Dinner Blaster.
He also invented the Undernet, the Underground's version of the Internet. One day, when he was building portals, he fell into one and was teleported to many different places. He got a good beating in some of these places which would explain the cracks in his skull and his deformities.
In 2020, Gaster would travel around mysteriously, minding his own beeswax aka business, until the barrier was broken and the monsters were to leave the Underground and he would join them in leaving.
Gaster was reunited with his sons and the three would become wrestlers for EWE in Edmonton, Canada.
