Udo Kang is a minor villain character featured in Red Dead Revolver and an outlaw from China.

Kang is an outlaw from China who is wanted dead or alive for "murder and mayhem" with a bounty of only $50 (but that was actually worth like a buck in the 1880's). He is described as being a bully and of very small stature although he does not appear significantly smaller than other enemies with the exception of the midget Fidgit. According to rumours, Kang came into the US in his late 20's. He worked for the Ugly Gang until its disbandment but then switched to Hal's Gang.
Interactions[]
Varmin appears in only two missions in the game with rather smaller roles.
Kang is first encountered in Widow's Palace while it is overrun by the Ugly Gang. Kang, Chicken, Mad Bob Larson and another bandit were walking through the streets when they encountered Red's pet dog. After the animal yelled on one of Kang's boots, he shot and killed the dog, causing Red to retaliate by whipping out the entire Ugly gang. Unlike Chicken, who always covered, Udo almost never covered and was "killed" (only knocked out, really) by Red with a Bowie knife.
Later Udo, somehow alive, participated in the part of trying to drive Annie MacFarlane from her ranch only to be killed (for real this time) with the rest of Hal's Gang by her after reaching over her breaking point.

Showdown[]
The player can unlock Udo Kang as a playable character in Showdown by purchasing the large blanket from the General Store's wall in Brimstone after the mission "The Cemetery". He may also be unlocked by completing "Bar Fight" with a four-star rating along with Dapper Dan and Sam.
His special ability is to get a random throwable item and fill it up with ice powers, freezing the enemies on place.

He really isn't very tall, but o' Varmin Kang had been running in gangs for ages and from all around, too. From China to America, this kid gets around. They say that when he was a boy, he seemed older for his age and he terrified all his companions all around. Since then, he has been known to fight dirty by punching his victims in the back or kick 'em in their ballsack. Wanted: alive or dead on suspicion of murder and mayhem. Reward of 50 dollars.

- In Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition his role is replaced by Sid Winkler, hence the similar journal description.
- His hairstyle is commonly mistaken for a hat.
- The second character model of Varmin looks much older, with teeth missing and brown hair that seem to be greying.
- He shares the same quotes as Smiley Fawler.
- Udo is listed in Revolvers instructions manual as a mini-boss at Widow's Palace, even though that role actually belongs to Chicken.
