Tuxedo Sam is a sailor-styled waitering penguin who hangs out with Hello Kitty and her bunch. He is a character in Hello Kitty & Friends.
He is a nervous wreck by personality, but is also a bit of dapper in his appearance and gets along with everyone, except Catnip.
Thanks to his nervousness, he has made a lot of clumsy decisions in his life, like when he accidentally hit an iceberg where some people were on when he played golf, drowning them. He can change his fur from blue to black when he steps out into the sun or a uhhh, non-Arctic surface. His parents were British penguins who were send back to Antarctica from their zoo in England when the zookeepers and owners found no use for them anymore. Because of this, Sam can speak English pretty well and speaks with a strong accent. Sam has two younger brothers, Tam and Pam, but they never hang out. It is unknown if they are on good terms at all.

- He is not to be mistaken with the outlaw Sam from Red Dead Revolver or any other Sam.
- Sam is actually his surname. His first two names are Tuxedo Jimmy or Jim, but he prefers it Sam.
