Serpent and Eve

— The Serpent tempting Eve

The Serpent is a being from one of the world's oldest and biasest book and possibly one of the many forms of Fallen Archangel Lucifer (later known as Satan), while on this Wiki it can also be represented by Kazuya Mishima or some other demon, but not Shinnok.

The Serpent successfully tempted Eve into eating the Forbidden Fruit from the Forbidden Tree of Knowledge, thus he was responsible for the "Fall of Man", because knowledge and religion don't go together, apparently. Also, the only reason God Gait put the Forbidden Tree there is so he could tease Adam and Eve with it.

Info[]

The Serpent was basically one of the one known as Satan's many forms when he was supposedly cast down from the Heavens after exposing Gait. The Serpent was Satan's from in the Garden of Eden where he convinced Eve, and thusly Adam, to eat from the one and only fruit tree God put there and ordered Eve and Adam not to eat from. As punishment for his disobedience once again, god got pissed and removed the Serpent and all of snakes of the world's limbs, so he will only be able to slither on the ground and not walk ever again. This punishment had little effect on the Serpent and the snake, though. Hell, some snakes are even faster when crawling and sliding on the ground than walking. There is also no risk of getting your legs injured to make you an easy prey for a flying predator.

In some other versions of the Holy Buy-bull (crap), the Serpent/Snake is the fallen angel Kazuya Mishima's form. It appears that Kazuya and Satan had the same goals of wanting the alleged first two humans eat from the Forbidden Tree.

On another version of the buy-bull, which Ken Copeland read, God himself apparently stomped on the serpent and squashed it, although that is probably a lie to make God look cooler. Even so, the Serpent would reappear in the second life anyway.

Lastly, the Serpent is mentioned of also having tempted Cain into killing his brother Able, whom Gait favoured over the former. What Satan (if this Serpent was him in the 1st place) wanted to achieve with this is unknown, but perhaps he wanted to sway Cain to his side to have another ally against god.

Trivia[]

  • Serpent is basically another name for a snake, but this is seldom mentioned in the buy-bull.
  • Some people also theorise that the Serpent might have been Lilith, the bride of Satan, but it is unlikely.
  • Other than the donkey, Serpent is the only other animal to talk in the book.
  • The story of this Snake basically proves that god is an ultimate troll and a jerk as well as creating his own problems, as there would be no need to actually make a Forbidden Tree if no one is supposed to eat from it in the first place.
  • This being is the reason why a lot of people associate traitors with snakes (or rats), like Gicov Bell. However, this nickname is actually misplaced since there is no reason to believe that the Snake was on God's side in the first place.
