- "While Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima wage an unrelenting war on their ancestral land of Japan just like how Russia is waging a war on Ukraine, but at the same time, Azazel decides to take the situation in his own hand and spies on the two fallen angels from his ravaged planet of Orinion. He finally manages to get Amy Sorel on his side; forcing the young Empress to work for him or else he'll blow up her planet Duro or so he says. Amy sends her men after Jin and Kazuya's right-hands, but will she manage to uncover the secret that binds Jin and Kazuya to this never-ending war? And what on Earth does the Dark Lord Azazel wish to gain from this? We'll see."
- — Godfrey reporting on the War
After Azazel's victory against the Mishima Corporation on the War on Orinion, Jin Kazama instead decides he has a score to settle with Kazuya Mishima, another fallen angel who had a long-standing rivalry with Jin and was now stripped of his demonic form by Queen Almeida. The perfect story begins when Jack Herbert, a new follower of Kazuya, has set up a decoy for Nina Williams, the bodyguard of Jin Kazama. Herbert is desperate to win the war for his Masters. The thing is that both Jin and Kazuya are seeking complete control over Japan where both of them wish to assault the Heavens and regain their statuses as archangels. However, with Cetrion in charge it seems like that a war on Heavens would be a tough nut to crack. To this end, Jin finds out that the priceless Shinnok's Amulet, once in safe hands of Raiden, is now lost somewhere in Egypt and he plans on getting it so he can win the war easily and defeat Lady Cetrion, making him ruler supreme.
During her travel to Japan, Amy Sorel forms a friendship with Asuka Kazama in hopes of gaining some info on Jin and Kazuya. After this, Amy sneaks into Asuka's apartment at night whilst she's having a party at a friend's house. It's here where she learns that Asuka was formerly a student at Mishima Polytechnic and is a descendant of Jin and Kazuya. Amy leaves the apartment and runs back to her hotel suite to rest. Concerning her task, Amy meets with Jack Herbert in order to cement the deal with him in killing off Nina Williams. The two succeed and Nina eventually dies in a car explosion set up by Herbert. However, what Herbert is unaware of is that Amy seeks his death as well in order to weaken the two fallen angels and make Azazel proud.
Next day at Kisko's, Asuka is kidnapped by an unknown assailant and Amy is without a puppet. It's here that Asuka is gonna be used as bait for Jin since the Fallen One apparently still cares for her and Kazuya will use her as bait in order to lure Jinny into his trap. Amy secretly follows the black van in which Asuka was captured and sees that she was taken into a secretive Kazuya military base. She becomes very agitated that Asuka was kidnapped and decides to call Azazel on the matter. Azazel explains to Amy that it doesn't matter since Kazuya will probably succeed in his goals and obilirate Jin so they'll have one problematic angel less to worry about.
After being spotted just outside of town, Mishima's minions arrive and aim their guns at Amy. She explains that she wants no troubles with them and their leader, Jack Herbert, confirms the favour Amy did for him and has her go free. Before Amy leaves however, she asks Herbert about Jin and Kazuya's fall from grace but Herbert doesn't tell her anything, claiming he knows little of the subject himself. About a minute later Azazel's Living Gargoyles arrive on time and leave with Amy. Realising Amy is working with Azazel, Jack orders her to be hunted by Kazuya's demons but she is taken to Orinion to Azazel's Temple to safety.
After Jin arrives to rescue Asuka at the bases he gets incapacitated by Jack Herbert and Yakuza himself. There, it is revealed that not only does Kazuya wish to kill Jin, he wishes to absorb his entire Devil Gene as well, making him ruler supreme. However, Jin uses his amulet to free himself from his convines and destroys most of Kazuya's minions. "Remarkable power!" yells Kazuya as he sees he now has the amulet to deal with as well.
After Amy arrives back at Azazel's Temple she receives a text message from Onaga that Shao Kahn was defeated by Chernobog and now he rules Outworld, merged with the Never Never Land. Amy gets jealous as does Azazel, a littel. After Amy has a shower at Azazel's and the Rectifier goes to get himself a drink, Governor Kravendish and Aloysius O'Hare arrive at the Temple with some grave news: Jin Kazama is after Azazel and Amy as well. Azazel laughs the threat off as he is way more powerful than o' Jinny Kazama and has his gargoyles ready at his Temple to fend off Kazama. At the same time Kazuya and his minions are on their way to Orinion as well to deal with Amy and Azazel, making the situation a bit... awkward, but not for Azazel; he now has the perfect chance to end his ancient rivals in one stroke!
Aftermath[]
Azazel then uses his might and Ultimate Power of Sin & Darkness to obilirate both Jin and Kazuya who just arrived there. After Jin gets killed, he drops Shinnok's amulet right before Azazel's feet. Azazel uses the sacred amulet to have even more power and promises Amy he'll leave her planet alone for so dutifully serving him. Oh, and Azazel also destroyed Jack Herbert during the blast. He also managed to destroy the Devil gene, freeing the Mishima Family of Kazuya and Jin's corruption, unknowingly.
