The Happy Tree Friends Movie (often abbreviated as THTFM) is an upcoming movie that is expected to hit theatres on July 26, 2024. Regardless of the cute looking animated forest animals, this movie will be rated R so please parents, DO NOT take your kids to see this movie!
Plot[]
Everyone on Happy Tree Friends has been abducted by Disney except for Lumpy, Sniffles, Splendid and Flippy. The nefarious Mickey Mouse wants to turn them all into truly lovable forest animals with human feelings and emotions and for them all to be all truly cutesy. It is either that or he will find a way to kill them all off and permanently this time. It is up to Lumpy, Sniffles, Splendid and Flippy to save their friends from the fate of either forced conformity or permanent extinction. Spoiler art: Lifty and Shifty will be the first to die. They immediately refuse to conform to Mickey Mouse, so he kills them in front of the other HTF characters as a deterrent. Looks like they won't be making anymore appearances. They rarely ever survive anyway so what's the point of keeping them around to begin with? They were pretty entertaining antagonists, though. Some other characters will also die (we aren't going to say which ones just yet though) and will also cease to exist within the franchise. It will probably be the final HTF production anyhow.
