The Godfather: The Election is a game about leadership election of the Dixmor Project in 2016, scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2016, it will be the 6th quadrennial Project election. Voters will select leadership electors who in turn will elect a new leader and supreme leader through the electoral college. The current leaders, Murkoff Dixmor and Luccardo Dixmor are still in it, and run for the leaders for another term.

The Godfather: The Election is a sequel to The Godfather: Control of France City and an adaptation of The Godfather: Steelport Show, where you control a Corleone soldier called Tony Rosato and must do everything you can to ruin up and destroy the Dixmor Project. The action takes place across three cities: New York, West Virginia, and Los Angeles. The game is played from a third person perspective. It also contains some strategy elements, as the player's character battles the Project and take over businesses to ultimately kill the Project.
Prelude[]
In December 2013, Freaky Willy has moved his family's buisness to some places in United States of America, leaving Luigi Pennino as his underboss and proxy in New York. Willy's ultimate ambition is to go legitimate, via New York's lucrative gambling trade and a business enterprise in West Virginia with Zinyak, and give his capos the opportunity to form their own families.
Story[]
On August 15th, 2013 in Little Havana, Miami, 2 years after Trapani assisted in the assassinations of the Dons of the Stracci, Cuneo, Tattaglia and Barzini families and also when Trapani was promoted to Underboss. Zinyak has arranged for a meeting in which Corleones and the rest of the dying Dixmor puppets discuss plans to divide territory and take on the Project itself and the rest of the rival families. Trapani and Fredo Corleone, both, who were (unknown to the others) Corleone traitors for the Cuneos were present at the meeting as well. When their meeting is interrupted by the Fortunato Regime, they don't want to fight, in fact Fortunato's crew just came there to give them a latter from the Project, Michael Corleone take the latter and read it, it said:

It will be with two members of the Dixmor family - Murkoff and Luccardo, two members of the Barzini family - Francesco Barzini and Diamond Tiara, president of USA - Lucas Borlinghathen, kid - Darnell Jackson and fable - Mr. Toad.
