Tamayo Diego La Rio is a minor enemy character in the game Scarface: The World Is Yours.

La Rio was born in Bolivia's city of La Paz, South America. He grew up in crime, and had enough money to buy a gun by the time he was 17. One day, he shot a hot dog vendor and stole his money, as leader of Sheffield's Gang, George Sheffield, looked on. Sheffield asked him to meet him at a local restaurant, where he told him that he wanted him to join his bodyguard army. His first mission was to murder Jose Blatino, who owed Sheffield some money, but already hasn't paid in three weeks. He shot Blatino five times in his apartment and buried him in a murky swamp, and he was paid $5,000 in cash. Tamayo continued murdering enemies of the Sheffield cartel and sold drugs for years, and in 2005/5 AH, he was arrested for five years on charges of murder and tax evasion, and he went to jail for only two years; as boss and lawyer Sheff bailed him out.

Tamayo only appears in the last mission of the game: "This Ends Now!", and is presumably killed by Tony Montana, but his corpse is never find anywhere.
