Red Dad Online[]
Sometime before the start of Miss Crumpet's mission strands, Crumpet and her husband knew Stonewall Ellington and his wife, Grace, who were business partners.
One day, Victor Anderson wished to get his hands on some of Stonewall's business money and wanted to form an alliance. The alliance would be beneficial for Stonewall, as Anderson told him that in return for a cut of his profits, he and his henchmen would work as assassins for Stonewall and get rid of any obstacles he might have.
Ellington agrees with Anderson's proposal and decides to have Mr. Crumpet eliminated, so he can have the entire business the two invested in, for himself.
In 115 BH, Crumpet was murdered in cold blood by the Anderson gang in St. Pennis. When Miss Crumpet finds out about her husband's murder and that it was carried out by the Andersons, she calls for her henchman Jeff to join her in taking down Vic and his gang, but was unaware that Stonewall actually called the shots, literally. However, Crumpet had her suspicions.
Shortly after Victor's murder by the protagonist under Crumpet's orders, Stonewall invite Jessica Crumpet to meet him at the Gold Town plaza for a business meeting. Believing him to be allied to the now dead Victor, she asks the protagonist to accompany her. In Gold Town, Ellington, his bodyguard and his butler greet the Crumpet woman and her goon and says that it's been a while since they met, while offering the two some home-baked cookies and tea. Crumpet is sceptical of him and believes him to have sold out her husband to the Andersons because he found better use in them than her husband. She also considered the Andersons to be dumb and easily-manipulated. Despite this, Stonewall seemed to not care at all about Anderson's death. The only thing he ever cared for was power. Stonewall smiled arrogantly and told his young butler to show Crumpet the signed documents where it was proven that Stonewall had indeed sold out her husband for the Anderson gang. Ellington exposed himself with glee. After closely inspecting the document and dropping it on the ground, Crumpet breathe heavily and ordered the protagonist to kill Stonewall. Before the protagonist could kill Ellington, his bodyguard grabbed him by the arm and twisted it, making him drop his weapon while Eli's butler grabbed Miss Crumpet's shotgun from her shaky hand and handed it over to Stonewall.
Despite being on her knees and at his mercy, Miss Crumpet cursed Stonewall and yelled at him that he won't get away with murdering her husband while the hero was held by his throat by his bodyguard. Stonewall ordered his henchman and butler to kill the two, but just then, one of Miss Crumpet's men, Earl Benjamin came onto the scene with a couple of men on horseback, shooting Stonewall's bodyguard down before he could pull the trigger. Stonewall then clapped his hands together like a magician before the hero or Miss could retaliate and disappeared himself off the screen. His butler, who was left, got on his knees and begged for mercy. Miss Crumpet showed him none and had him killed with the shotgun he took from her. Earl then rode to the two, telling them that Stonewall will return, but it is not known when and where.
This ends Stonewall's role in the Online mode and he never appears in the game again.
The New Life[]
Stonewall can usually be found around West Virginia, especially riding on a horse through the town or with a wagon through the Grate Plains. He is also a frequent tourist of the blue line train and a supporter of Nate Johnson, the Gold Town mayor and former US President. Stonewall can be seen at Felix Publishing and Immigration Co. and in the Gold Town bank as well, where he apparently works. Ellington can also sometimes be found hunting in Tall Trees. He is apparently quite wealthy, as him and Nate own a gold mine, probably.
Lastly, he can be found fighting with an outlaw or a random rancher on Great Plains. Regardless if he is killed here, it'll be non-canon as Queen Almeida has different plans for him.
There is also Stonewall's treasure in the game which can be found buried in Brumas the Bear's cave on Nekoti Mountain. This is in fact a nod to Revolver 3dn where Stonewall is also an owner of gold.
Death[]
Ellington died of old age of 73 in 1930/70 BH, according to a newspaper.
Trivia[]
- Stonewall was on the train ride in the mission "Exobus in America", before he moved from one seat to let Boonie MacFarlane off at Silver Town, although he himself also came out there, behind John Marston. On the said right, he sat behind Mrs. Borlinghathen and Mrs. Dickiss, another two rich scum, like him.
