A factory in Midtown, this building was purchased by Virgil Sollozzo after his arrival in France, funded by the Tattaglia Family. From here, his narcotics business was masterminded, although it was emptied following the attempted assassination on Vito Corleone, for the fear that it would become a target.
In 10 AH, the factory became active again, as the Tattaglias underestimated the current power of the Corleone Family. After hijacking a supplies truck, the Corleones, led by Pete Clemenza, managed to eliminate the guards, while Charlie Trapani, and Marty Malone ensured the destruction of the buildings.
Following this, the Corleones began to target the rest of Sollozzo's drug fronts, which signalled the beginning of the end for the kingpin. The factory was never re-occupied.
However, when the Corleones' power declined sometime after, the factory became completely abandoned and is now occupied by hobos.
In the video game[]
The factory does not feature in the original version of The Godfather Game, but in next-gen version (the bonus game I have). However, in the game the player cannot enter it, due to its destruction.
