A Soldier or Soldato is the first "made man" rank in the Mafia. A Soldier is a part of a crew led by a Capo. Most of the Soldiers are Italian. The job of a Soldato is to be a lethal enforcer, one that can be kept around until the boss wants him done with, or if somebody consults the man's boss and gives a good reason to kill him. Soldiers are generally used to attack businesses, reinforce fronts, collect debts, and other odd jobs, while Caporegimes are the link between the boss and Soldier, Underbosses are usually heirs, and Lawyers are just advisers. Soldiers are in charge of crews made of spys and other lower ranks.
