Simon "Simony" Fletcher is an Irish gangster and father of Sayer Fletcher of the Westies gang. He was an important associate of the Barzini Family, although he never joined up their ranks. He serves a minor role in The Godfather Game.

Biography[]

Fletcher joined organised crime at around the age of 46, becoming a lethal associate for the Barzini Family in order to improve his profits. He ran operations such as diamond smuggling in Mid Town, and worked under the Underboss Victor Barzini. Fletcher was allowed to join up the Barzini ranks, but he declined due to the fear of being killed. Nevertheless, he played a key part in the distribution crime ring, running the Shiny Gem Warehouse, and became a savvy businessman and a top-notch diamond racketeer.

In 2011/11 AH, the Corleone Family muscled in on his business, with their underboss Charlie Trapani attacking the fortress with a handful of hitmen. They killed all of the Barzini enforcers defending the warehouse, and were forced to sell out by Trapani, Simon handing over tons of money to the Corleones each week and ran the warehouse for Michael Corleone until the Corleones' decline and DeVazzi Family's subsequent take over, after which he worked for them.

Trivia[]

  • He shares a similar character model as Nicky Corleone. He basically has the same tailor as him, though.
