Shao Kahn's Throne Room is located within Shao Kahn's Castle top floor in North Outworld.
Overview[]
The Emperor's Throne Room sits at the top level of his fortress. Shao's throne is designed to swivel well so that he can look out of the two eye holes on the huge exterior of his skull helmet. The ceiling has retractable panels.
Shao Kahn's Throne Room also appears in Mortal Kombat 9, complete with a Tai-Gore at the Emperor's side, his sort of pet. While the players are fighting, Kahn taunts and laughs at the losing player while compliments the winning one, even throwing him some coins after a match.
In Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe, Shao's very own throne room becomes merged with Darkseid's throne room, and therefore takes a completely new look. This merged throne room is the game's final level to fight the sub-bosses, either Darkseid or Shao Kahn himself. Not only does each side of the arena have its own lower area accessible by free fall combat, but you can smash through the separating wall between them.
