"Marquez comes across like a typical Sergeant. Mean, foul-mouthed and merciless. Plenty of guys around these parts like to hurt people for fun, but Marquez goes over the line and carries scalps to prove it. Luckily for him, hurting people is a part of his job."
— Sheriff Bartlett on Marquez

Sergeant Marquez is a minor villain character featured in Red Dead Revolver.

Info[]

Not much is known of Serg Marquez, but judging from his surname, he appears to be Mexican or at least Mexican-American. Nevertheless, he worked for the American Army. It is also known that he is the great great grandfather of Dora the Explorer.

Interactions[]

Marquez appears in the last cutscene of the mission "The Bridge" where he is seen captured by Javier Diego's men and is then seen being escorted off to jail by Colonel Daren. He can also be seen in the cutscene where he orders the American Army members to attack the Mexican Army.

Marquez is not seen again in the game after that, but many American soldiers sharing his character model can be seen protecting Griffon's Mansion in one of the last missions of the game.

Death[]

Marquez was killed on 1 May, 1878, in the Diablo Mine by a Mexican Army private with a shot to the head after refusing to mine for the gold due to backache. He bickered with the private for around 15 minutes before his death.
