This article, Sandtown, is property of Billy cougar.

Sandtown is one of the three most known neighbourhoods in The Sims 2. It is also the biggest of the three neighbourhoods which includes Pleasantview and Melbourne.

The mayor of Sandtown is Jonny Pankot.

There are a total of 24 residential lots in Sandtown out of 27 who are unoccupied. Out of all the 24 lots there are at least four mansions. A lot of the homes are trailers and some are just parts of bigger smokestacks or abandoned movie studios. There are a few more richer houses on the hill and there is the city hall in the middle of the neighbourhood for all; Sandtown, Melbourne and Pleasantview. The whole lot is more or less covered in desert except for the Rockpile district which includes city offices and larger buildings. The unoccupied lots are either trailers or alien-styled kučas.

There are around 6 poorer families residing in Sandtown, 5 alien ones and 4 richer ones. It is common in this place to get abducted by aliens, and then left somewhere else in Australia or on another planet. Also there are many broken down spaceships from different planets in large craters that look like it were caused by meteors, but were probably caused by the spaceships' impact. Most of the alien families in the said neighbourhood got there that way.

The town even includes a private bank ran by Red S. Hirt, the wealthiest citizen of the town compared to Pleasantview's wealthiest guy: Noel Howard.

Despite being the larger one of the two neighbourhoods, it is actually the poorest - With most people making money below 100 Australian dollars a week. However, all of that can be thanked to the mayor. It also has less lots to visit than Pleasantview.

Out of the two smaller neighbourhoods, Sandtown logically has the most saloons, casinos, shops, buildings, etc.
