Sam is a minor villain character in Red Dead Revolver and a minor character as well in Rootin' Tootin', Cowboy Shootin'.
Info[]
Sam is the owner of the Brimstone Saloon and an outlaw around Brimstone and its surrounding territories. Sam is a very strong and large guy, kind of like Ugly Chris and Pig Josh. Samuel and his younger brother, Dapper Dan, were feared criminals in Brimstone and often hung out in the town's saloon, owned by Sammy. Sam had a bounty of $400 before he was killed by Red Harlow after pissing him off.
Interactions[]
Sam is first mentioned in the mission "Ranch War". He left a notice on the ranch's post that the Mayor made him and Hal's Gang a "better offer" to roust Annie MacFarlane from her ranch and burn the dump to the ground as she didn't sell her ranch over to Mayor Griffon.
Sam is seen in the beginning of the mission "Saloon Fight" where Red Harlow makes a scene after getting pissed of by Dapper Dan and his boys, as they refused to tell him what they knew about Colonel Daren. After Harlow kills Sam's brother in front of him in the mission "Bar Fight", Sam tries to avenge him instantly and calls up some of his showgirls and boys to fight Red, one of which was Smitty. He is subsequently killed by Red, who shot him in the head, causing him to fall off the balcony, right onto a poker table.
Fight with Lenny[]
Once when drunk as skunk, Lenny Summers starts a fight with a man in the Brimstone Saloon and a large brawl breaks out. Sam and two of his guys, Father Driscoll and Oscar Navarro, hear the fight from the theatre room and furiously march into the bar.
A scared Kenyon begs them to stay out of the fight, but Sam just knocks him out with one punch and immediately begins to fight with the young boy. One of Lenny's friends punches Sam in the stomach, but he is unfazed by his attack and K.O.'s him with one shot. Summers tries to attack Sam but of course, he is no match for him. Sam easily resists Lens and throws him out the saloon's window, right onto the Brimstone street. Sammy marches outside and continues to beat him some. After some time of continuous fighting, Sammy starts to savagely beats Lenny, nearly killing him only for Driscoll to stop him, saving Lenny's life or so it seems. Lenny escaped to West Virginia following his brawl with Sam & his guys. This was one year before he met Dutch's Gang.
Later that day, Sam, Dan and Smitty can be seen eating some rice n' stuff inside the Brimstone Saloon. A cowardly Hanz can be seen covering behind the bar.
This event happened in 1885, a year before the events of Rootin' Tootin', Cowboy Shootin' took place, and two years before Revolver took place, where Sam also met his end.

- — Sam to Harlow

Showdown[]
After completing the mission "Bar Fight" with an excellent rating, the player unlocks Sam as a playable character in Showdown. Sam is quite a useful character for he has three methods of attacking: charging at the opponent like a bull, picking them up and throwing them all around and throwing barrels at opponents. He also uses a Pacificador as his weapon. He is a good ally to have on your team.
Journal Entry[]
Sam is usually accompanied in the town and tow by his lil' brother, Dan. Sam runs and owns the Brimstone saloon. Both brothers know they are untouchable if they stick together. I don't think I've ever seen such a strong man like o' Sam, maybe Pig Josh or his brother. His predilection for riots and chaos in my town has caused many problems, even in his saloon. Hanz Kenyon, the barman in the 'loon will admit it that the showgirls and most prostitutes at the place love Sam and give him a lot of head plus oral.
Trivia[]
- His fight with Lenny Summers in 1885 in his saloon was a bit similar to the saloon fight in Valentine Village between Dutch's Gang and a couple of drunkards and it ended with the member Arthur Morgan beating the crap out of a guy named Thomas, unlike in the original fight where Sam beat the sith out of Lenny. Summers was also by then a part of Dutch's boys.
- Sam shares some of his showdown quotes with Cooper, with whom he also shared the voice actor.
- Sam is quite similar to Yosemite Sam, at least in their "occupation" and cowboyness plus beards, but by height they are nothing alike.
- The Slovenian version of their names would be Samo.
- His fav showgirl is Tameri aka Tammy.
- His character model was once used for Hue Sam.
