Rogue one (aka Rogue-1, ja. ならず者・1, ru. "Изгнанная. Одна") is the main protagonist of The Rogue One: Chieftain Declassified unreleased audio novel, sequel to Chip-chan Kick series.
Bio[]
Formerly known as Yōsuka Chieftain, she probably was an agent who worked with CIA and Interpol. After the events of The Showdown Yōsuka left the city because she lost all her family and friends there. She changed her name and personality to fight Malice Cheng and have her head. She quits CIA and goes to San Fran to find Malice herself there. She is still doing her things undercover.
Once she forced to join NORAD to help them find Malice and she paid for that soon.
Personality[]
Yōsuka lost her left eye when she got sniped in Shanghai. She wears a full-metal eyepatch because of this, just like Asuka Langley Sorhyu.
Unlike classical Yōsuka, she became more serious and severe like a rogue rascal, that's why she's called as The Rogue One.
Rogue's behaviour fully resembles Yusup Dalmaz's character: she is a good monarchist (she is very fond of monarchies, especially British) and she really hates Russia.
Voice acting issues[]
In the test burn of NORAD Chronicles (ja. NORAD・年代記, hepburn. NORAD nendaiki) [the alternative name of Chieftain Declassified audio novel for CIS and Japan] Rogue, named for some reasons as Jock Rogue, was voiced by Tara Strong in English and Jin Ling in Japanese, Chinese and Korean. But some non-verbal sounds like grunting, screaming etc were done by different actors like Antti Pääkkönen and Heljä Heikkinen voiced characters of Angry Birds Toons. After the official project cancellation these voices were used by Yusup Dalmaz, who being an ambassador of Supercell suggested the new character to Brawl Stars and used these non-verbal vocalisation for voice acting clips for Jock - he named this character just like it's been planned in test burn of audio disc.
Trivia[]
- The artist of The Rogue One is Urushihara Satoshi, unlike the artists Hirohiko Yanagi and Archie Brinn, who created the arts for previous audio novels and video game. That's why The Rogue One is a fully different character.
- The Rogue One audio novel should be released as the last one in the audio novel cycle, but it was officially cancelled by Yusup Dalmaz and Archibald Brinn who owned the Chieftain franchise for reasons unknown.
Theme song[]
Rogue One's theme song is The Big Set-up by Stephanie Joosten.
