Roberto Luis Marina was a gambler and owner of a local brewery in Pereira, Colombia, and was also a father Mateo and Ramirez Marina. He claimed he always preferred Ramirez over Mateo.
Info[]
Also known as 'Marina's grandfather', he was one of the few gamblers around town whose criminal activities had never been suspected by the police, Bob ran a fleet of beer trucks from Pereira as a front for his illegal activities. Marina bore Mateo and Ramirez Marina in 1872 and 1877, who both later become notorious criminals in South America. Roberto's brewing business was quite a success in Colombia according to Ramirez and Luisa Marina, despite not even knowing him and only being related to him by marrying Raul Marina.
Roberto presumably died of a liver failure due to heavy drinking, and he didn't have nearly enough power to escape death.
Personality and traits[]
A man of great personal cold, Marina managed to protect his reputation as an upstanding citizen through his jovial behaviour, often sharing cookies with the children of his factory workers and friendly gamblers. This was only a persona however, and he was an evil individual even in matters of business, and very well knew when it was necessary to murder people, and as such was a ruthless tactician.
Trivia[]
- Roberto shares a fairly similar character model with another guy from the 1890's, Billy Sanchez, who appeared in Red Dead Redemption part II, Mexican Revolution.
