This article, Revolver Bios, is property of Damon Tutti. |
This here is a list of all, well mostly all, at least the important ones, characters journal entries aka bios in both of the Revolver games of the Red Dead series. The following section will have the OG character's bio from the OG timeline, while it will also have the entries from the 3dn edition version. Das rite.
Note the character's background locations are the only ones that are selectable or viewable in the Showdown mode from both games, eh!

Journal Entry:
- Red's entry: It was rumoured that Red had a scorpion engraved on his right hand - He covers it with a red bandage. Sheriff O'Grady won't stop talking about a bounty hunter who had eliminated the entire Ugly Gang. When he first appeared in my village, I thought he looked familiar. After investigating the mess of a saloon, I knew that it was the boy of Nate Harlow. God knows I've got enough of troubles already around here, being the sheriff and such, but the boy deserved to know the truth, or at least a part of it. Sitting in the cell, he did not say anything, so I talked to him. I have the feeling that things are going to change very soon here, now that he ain't on our planet anymore.
- Jack's entry: It is rumored that a scorpion bite Jack on his right hand. He covers it with a red headband or something. Marshal Leg Johnson keeps talking about some bounty hunter who had butchered all of the Ugly Gang. When he first appeared in the village, I thought he looked familiar. After investigating the bathrooms of the bar, I knew it was the son of Johnny Marston. God knows I have enough mess already here, being the agent and such, but the boy deserved to know the truth, or at least some part of it. Sitting in the cage? He did not say anything, so I talked to him. I have the feeling that things are going to change very soon in the West.

Character:
- Annie MacFarlane/Boonie MacFarlane
Location:
- Annie's Ranch/MacFarlane's Ranch
Unlocking item:

Item's description:
- Nuffin
Journal Entry:
- Annie's entry: Annie's father raised the broad to be a rancher, just like him. After her father finally died, all his work still unfulfilled, she took over the ranch. The Mayor took a liking to the MacFarlane's ranch and did what he could to "persuade" her to leave or sell it over... to him. When the fences were burned down and the cows poisoned, Annie just worked harder. But when Holstein Hal and his boys started riding around the property, people knew that the Mayor wanted Ann's out of the picture. What he and Hal didn't know however, was that Annie was the best shot with a rifle in the territory.
- Boonie's entry: Boonie's father raised her to be a rancher, just like him. After her father died, she took over the ranch. The mayor hired deadly bandits to attack the ranch of MacFarlanes and did what he could to "persuade" her to leave so he could have it. When the grass was poisoned and fences burned down, Boonie simply worked harder. But when Charlie and Julias were riding around the ranch, people knew it was gonna be a war.
Character:
Location:
- Fallen Creek (both)
Unlocking item:
- Deer Antlers
Unlocking description:
- The trophy that won the West!
Journal Entry:
- Shadow's entry: From what I know, Shadow Wolf has always preferred to hunt and explore on his own. When Chef Running Moon told him that he could not visit his favourite cuisine, Red anymore, he distanced himself from the tribe even further. The tribe, however, has always respected him for his skills with a bow and his intransigence with insults, especially if from the Black Elk tribe. When he discovered that cousin Red was still alive and locked up in General Diego's mines, nobody questioned the elders' decision to send Wolf to the rescue. His last exploits drove out the Black Elk and put an end to the life its large leader, Grizzly.
- Nastas' entry: Similar to Wolf's.
Character:
Location:
- Sunset Canyon/Escalera
Unlocking item:
- Niente
Journal Entry:
- Buff's entry: The biggest mind-babbling thing about Buffalo was his "special attack". The attack had an effect similar to a grenade, his rifle could fire a shot with explosive capabilities of knocking down several enemies and killing them with a single blow. I heard he used to bust his butt off at Diego's mines and actually survived. One tough negro to say the least.
- Landon's entry: Somethin' is known about this man who calls himself "Ricketts". He was a protector of Chuparosa, protecting it from Agustin Allende and his evil soldiers. Rumour has it that he used to work in the mine at Tesoro Azul. It had to be tough. Landon escaped the mine and survived a brutal journey on a supply wagon westbound. The only thing he did wrong was dat he asked Mayor Johnson for help. Not much more is known about him only that you can except he sure had a gun that shoot straight.
Character:
Location:
- Widow's Palace/Silver Town
Unlocking item:
- Niente
Journal Entry:
- Revolver: The special ability of Chris' was, for many supernatural, but quite obvious since most of his boys had it. He simply transformed his bullets into fiery weapons of hell or mushroom or snake oil. The enemy will be damaged by a single blow and BURN, BABY, BURN! In a few seconds. Being the stronger man, I once saw him pick up poor Sheriff O'Grady in his arms and throw him towards the ground or in a cliff.
- 3dn: It seems like Ugly Chris is wanted for more than a dozen murders, mayhem, several disturbances and kidnapping. Goddamn, he is one dangerous outlaw and a mass murderer. How can fools like Gus Ballard, Bo Scrantom and Verner Corn follow such a monster? THEY WOULD WORK WITH SUCH A MAN!?
Character:
- Hedgehog Thornton/Gas Ballard
Location:
- Twin Rocks/Silver Town
Unlocking item:
- None
Journal Entry:
- Hedgehog's entry: Crooks don't get uglier than o' Hedgehog. I swear if Ugly Chris didn't pull him out of some rodent-infested hole in the ground idk where he did. It seems like Paul O'Grady is really runnin' slow otherwise this Hedgehog would be back in the ground where he belongs or maybe he is just that fast a hedgehog, like Sonic? You can never know.
- Gus' entry: Almost every gang member is handsomer than old Ballard. When Gus first came to Silver Town, Ugly Chris hired him first, and Gus was first member of the Ugly Gang. Leg Johnson was hiding behind the walls in the saloon, as he knew he was no match for Gus Ballard.
Character:
- Whiskey Treadwell/Michael Reese
Location:
- Widow's Palace/Silver Town
Unlocking item:
- None
Journal Entry:
- Whiskey's entry: "Dear Pater Treadwell: I can not reform or discipline William in any way. He has grown too old to stay in the orphanage with the other kids, and his behaviour makes me fear for the safety of all of us. He has been known for drinking large quantities of whiskey whenever he could, and has become violent when he did so. I have send him to you by train to see if you will have any more luck with him than me. Remain with God. - Father Callahan" Everything seemed to have been going well until Whiskey jumped off the train at Widow's Palace and joined up with Chris.
- Mike's entry: Similar, but Reese escaped from Thief's Town and was never in an orphanage. He then joined Chris in Silver's.
Character:
- None
Unlocking item:
- Axe/Bed Roll
Item's description:
- Harry: This ax was used by the train robber "Hatchet" Schultz to cut up his siblings.
- Dan Pister: This bed roll provides a soft spot for your head out on the rugged range.
Journal Entry:
- Harry's entry: It seems that Harry's pa would usually punish young Harry by forcing him to chop wood for hours, while his brothers and sisters teased him. At the age of 15, however, he decided that he will "change" the family tree a bit. I hope you know what I meant.
- Pister's entry: Pister was once a notorious gambler around Thief's Town. Once he was caught cheating in a game of cards, the other criminal scum wanted to see him swing. After escaping the town on a horseback, Pister joined up with Hestor Frith and his scum. Pister now prefers trains over gambling.
Character:
- Hank Pallman/Wade Fackcard
Location:
- None
- Cookie Bag (both)
Item's description: Tasty, but not cheap also. (Both) Journal Entry:
- Hank's entry: Hank Pallman exits the train after each trip to Brimstone like a soldier leaving the battlefield. Avalanches, outlaws around other states, earthquakes and collapsed bridges don't faze him but the trip to Brimstone does. I also reckon his impending death does. According to Hank, the only thing keeping him alive is "a healthy bag of loot and money to trade with the bandits."
- Wade's entry: Wade exists the train after each trip to the station like a demonio crawling out of the Never Land. Earthquakes, tsunamis and sandstorms do not shake him, but outlaws like Hestor's boys do. According to his own worlds, he needs to eat a cookie from his special bag once every now and again just to get through the day.
Character:
Location:
- None
Unlocking item:
- Bloody Skull (both)
Item's description:
- Asada: This actual yuman skull was carved a bit by a voodoo practitioner in the carnival.
- Percival: This skull was used as a statue deep down in mine. It has a whole history behind it. Details are missing still, but it's known that the miners used the skull a statue as I said at beninging... At the beninging... Benig-beginning! Pardon me.
Journal Entry:
- Asada's entry: Asada is a typical of his kind. A typical outlaw who wastes money as quick as he gets it. He was seen in voodoo rituals and also in other types of illegal activities. If I ever see him in Brimstone, I'll make sure to give him a good "welcome".
- Percival's entry: Guy is a classic criminal like every other criminal we have seen around these parts. Always dressed stinky. Steals money at the same speed as he digs up in mines which is actually quite quick. Seen in illegal activities and if he ever comes to Gold Town, I will give him a good "welcome".
Character:
Location:
- Widow's Palace or Carnival Outpost/Silver Town
Unlocking item:
- Hillbilly Stove (both)
Item's description:
- This stove will be great if you're cold, won't it?
Journal Entry:
- Blade's entry: Clyde "The Blade" Slade was one of the two performers back from O'Leary's days before that Joker-like freak Perry took over. Nevertheless, rumour is that O'Leary was going to fire him for "missing" too many assistants in the knife act.
- Conway's entry: Mickey was one of the two treasure hunters working for O'Leary's back in the day, before Wade Basset took over. It is rumoured that O'Leary was going to fire him for killing too many helpers on duty.
Character:
Location:
- None
Unlocking item:
- Lighter (both)
Item's description:
- LaRouche: The famous "Lightning" LaRouche, performer of Prof. Perry's, used this lighter to light his infamous torch.
- Duffly: The famous Roscol Duffy used this lighter to light his torch.
Journal Entry:
- LaRouche's entry: An unexplained fire killed Preston O'Leary and Professor Perry stepped in. LaRouche was one of two performers to survive the change in management and leadership and was quite skilled with a torch. This fire-breather certainly burned the competition, get it? Indeed, one of the most amazing practitioners of fire-breathing can be seen in Prof. Perry's Potion and Peculiarities aka circus. Mr. Lightning LaRouche thrills the hearts of fans, young and old with his mastery over blazing infernos. When asked where he learned his trade and tricks, Mr. LaRouche replied "I was born with these abilities! As if I was gifted by Blaze or Kotal Kahn himself! HA!".
- Duffly's entry: An unexplained fire killed Aiden O'Leary and Basset steps in. Duffly is one of two performers to survive the change in management. Wade finds him very useful for persuading folks to buy potions, poison and to work hard in his mines. Yeah, really, one of the most amazing practitioners of torch-using, fire-burning can be seen working for the big bad Basset in Gaptooth Breach. Mr. Roscol Duffly threatens the lives of slave miners, young and old with his mastery of blazing infernos. When asked by a slave victim to be set free, Duffly stuck some dynamite in their mouths and let their heads explode.
Character:
Location:
- Fairgrounds/Red Grass
Unlocking item:
- Box of TNT/Pigs Feet
Item's description:
- Josh: This is the infamous box of dynamite that Piggie known as Josh uses when on stage.
- Dig: Some people like pork, but the original owner of these pig's feet likes pigs very much. It's more a matter of family history, that man's name was Dig.
Journal Entry:
- Josh's entry: There's no denying that Pig Josh can draw a crowd, but no one can stand his company off the stage thanks to his dynamite and dynamite-related puns. He mostly keeps to his wagon between shows like an outcast dat he is, feeding bits of bloody meat to his trained buzzards. Heavens know what he blows up to get that meat. I bet it is people, especially those who sympathise with the Union and voted for Lincoln.
- Dig's entry: There's no denying that Guard Dig is a perfect guard for protecting a mine, but no miner can stand his company with his aggressive nature and attitude. He mostly keeps to his spot in the mine, either using his o' pickaxe or dynamite to blow up some rocks to find gold. God knows where he gets so much dynamite. I reckon he steals it from honest folk and mine workers, or he robs general stores that sell it.
Character:
- Professor Perry/Wade Basset
Location:
- Carnival Outpost (rare) or Widow's Palace/Silver Town
Unlocking item:
- Monocle (both)
Item's description:
- Perry: This old monocle will help you understand how freaks like Perry see the world. Not to mention his pal West Dickens also probably has one, another slimy charlatan.
- Wade: This spectacle will help you understand how a stinky freak like Wade Basset sees the world.
Journal Entry:
- Perry's entry: Preston O'Leary, the much-loved owner of O'Leary's Travelling Circus and Carnival Show, was killed shortly before this "toxic monster" took control of his circus. Due to the lack of manpower, lawmen and investigators were not available to investigate thoroughly O'Leary's case and Perry was never charged with manslaughter. Professor Perry himself said that he is the new ringleader of the circus and the inventor of something called the "Miracle Elixir" and said that with his very own "circus crew" we will see shows that we had never seen before. "The show must go on!" - Says Perry.
- Wade's entry: Aiden O'Leary, the owner of the mine at Gaptooth Breach was killed sometime before Basset's Miners took over the place. Due to the lack of law enforcement and the fact that some of the corrupt ones were bribed, like Rj Peart and Hank Bellemay, the Texas Sheriffs were not able to investigate O'Leary's case and charge Basset with murder. Basset and his boys then took over the Breach and started investing in shroom oil as well. "Nothing beats some good o' mushroom oil now and again!" Says that stinker Basset.
Character:
- Atlas Jones/Harvard Coskie
Location:
- None/Red Grass
Unlocking item:
- Weight balls/Lamp
Item's description:
- Atlas: Atlas Jones uses this to train his mussels.
- Coskie: Keep the light on through those long, dark nights as Harvard does.
Journal entry:
- Atlas' entry: Walks with his big-s muscles and brass knuckles all around, not like that he ever needs them.
- Coskie's entry: Walks and slashes with his rusty pickaxe all around like a fool, not like that he ever hits anything.
Character:
Location:
- Carnival Outpost/Silver Town or Red Grass
Unlocking item:
- Napoleon Statue (both)
Item's description:
- Fidgit: This statue is the historical replica of the former French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. Speaking of short, it reminds me a bit of that creepy clown who works for Perry.
- Harlan: This statue was used by miners to hang witnesses on the statue's arms.
Journal Entry:
- Fidgit's entry: Pig Josh is said to have had a lot of sex, cuddling, spanking, boob-licking, fingering and sole massaging with the lady known as The Bad Lady, who was very naughty and bad and loved a good aftercare. She disappeared one night when she had enough of the circus' criminal acts, so her children, like that clown Fidgit, were raised by Professor Perry himself and the results are truly terrifying! These kids look demonic, like some goddamn Clown ITs, if that creep even exists. Unfortunately, it surely does.
- Harlan's entry: Aiden O'Leary was killed one day by Roscol Duffly and Wade Basset. Mr. Forbers was just about to work for Aiden until he heard of his death. Despite this, Harlan decided to contact Basset and work for him in the Gaptooth mines, but most of his roles included guarding the mines or robbing the good folk of Silver Town for his smelly, dirty and stinky higher-ups.
Character:
Location:
- Sunset Canyon/Fallen Creek
Unlocking item:
- Whip/Harmonica
Item's description:
- Bessie: This sticky whip used to belong to one tough showgirl who worked in the Brimstone Saloon.
- Dutch: There's nothing like the sound of the harp to pass the time out in the range.
Journal Entry:
- Bessie's entry: There's something strange about this woman with a horse whip but no horse. Something is up with this broad. Wherever she goes, Bessie is surrounded by criminals, like that "Sissy" guy and valuables disappear while the good guys die. With her talent of whipping folk, she could make a fortune in prostitution or some BDSM crap, but it seems that she prefers to kill.
- Dutch's entry: There's something strange about this man who carries a horse but owns no horse whip. Something bad and evil. Wherever he goes, Douche is surrounded by criminals, and money disappears while the good people die. With his talent he could make a fortune by carrying a horse in theatres and ballrooms, but it seems that he just rather kills.
Character:
- Cooper/Cooper Red
Location:
- Sunset Canyon/Twin Rocks
Unlocking item:
- Barrel (both)
Item's description:
- Wine barrels have also proven to be effective as a body armour. (Both)
Journal Entry:
- Both: As far as I remember, the first shooting in which Cooper participated was against the Cornet brothers back in the 1870's. Cooper threw himself into an old barrel of apples, and goddarn it if he wasn't the only member of his gang that came out alive. I have heard that he has convinced other fools to imitate him by throwing themselves into barrels to avoid certain death.
Character:
- Bloody Tom/Walton Lowe
Location:
- Twin Rocks (both)
Unlocking item:
- Bloody Clothes (both)
Item's description:
- Tom: These clothes originally belonged to a butcher until he turned into a human serial killer.
- Walton: This clothes belonged to a muffin baker, but why is blood on it? Listen (Whispers in Jack's ear) truth is, he was a serial killer.
Journal Entry:
- Tom's entry: The first time I heard Tom's gang was ambushed was possibly my last time. The rival gang took his gang out, leaving dead bodies everywhere. It seems that Tom survived only by hiding under the corpses of his fallen comrades, and has since then sworn to avoid robbing banks and stagecoaches and dedicated himself to robbing traveling salesmen as it was safer.
- Walton's entry: The first time I heard that Tommy's Gang was ambushed - after the battle the corpses were everywhere. It seems that Walton was spared, hiding under the bodies of his former gang, and since then he was a cold-bloody killer and made up his own gang called "Irish's Gang" and the gang robbed banks and trains all over Texas.
Character:
Location:
- Black Town/Thompson Town
Unlocking item:
- Embalming Tools/Coffin
Item's description:
- Black: These embalming tools were stolen from the undertaker's in Black Town.
- Seth: Once the person's life force drains out completely, make sure you have at least one of these.
Journal Entry:
- Black's entry: Except for Jesse Lynch, who seems to have survived the hanging, all the folks who come close to Nigel Black end up dead. True, he is the former undertaker of Black Town and everyone dies sooner or later, but the residents of that damned city met their fates way too soon. It is said that Mr. Black cannot be killed, because he is already dead. One thing is for sure: Whomever went after him was never heard from again.
- Seth's entry: It seems like that creepy o'l Seth prefers to rob people when they're already dead. True, you do not have to have apathy to kill a man, but still, robbing people who were laid to rest just seems dirty and immoral. I've heard he is holded up in Thompson Town with a bunch of other fools and is killing off the remaining populace. Someone ought to take that dead man down.
Character: Holstein Hal/Charlie Mash Location:
- Annie's Ranch/MacFarlane's Ranch
Unlocking item:
- Branding Iron (both)
Item's description:
- An authentic branding iron from the local ranch. (Both, only that in Hal's case it says stolen from the local ranch.)
Journal Entry:
- Hal's entry: Like with Longhorn Luke, Hal's bounty reward is just for the show. His boss is my boss, so I can't touch him as much as I would like to. Hal ain't smart enough to raise his own cattle so he just steals from honest ranchers. He is also a hired gun for Mayor Griffon.
- Mash's entry: Mash was a famous cattle rustler and thief. When the British's Gang decided to work for thousand of pieces of gold for Nate Johnson, the gang leaders Willie and Rufus Bollard practically owned the Gold Town Saloon. Mash and Grimes were later tasked by the Mayor to burn down Boonie's ranch.
Character:
- Dapper Dan/Willie Bollard
Location:
- Fallen Creek/Silver Town
Unlocking item:
- Broken Glass (both)
Item's description:
- This glass seemed to have been broken recently in a saloon fight. (Both)
Journal Entry:
- Dan's entry: Dan is one of the strongest, physically men I've ever seen in my entire life! He regularly drinks in the saloon of Brimstone with his brother Sam, the saloon's ownah'. They both know that I have no chance in Hell against 'em if I face them together and so they almost never separate. Mayor Griffon also isn't too fond of them being in jail, and so I just gave up and left 'em alone.
- Willie's entry: Despite not looking like much, Willie is one of the physically strongest men in the west, I suppose. He regularly drinks in the Gold Town saloon with his older brother, Rufus and they like to give Milord Weaver some hard time. I suppose I could face the two limeys when seperated, but the Mayor took a liking to them, so I just gave up hope.
Character:
- Christina/Alicia Thayer
Location:
- Widow's Palace/Silver Town
Unlocking item:
- Nuffin
Journal Entry:
- Christian's entry:
Christina is the most loved and hated woman in town. Almost every men likes her, even if they won't admit it if their wife is in the presence, lurking, like how Albert and Abigail have it. And almost all the women hate her. She has always been really kind to me, so I don't know what women are complain about.
- Alicia's entry:
Alicia is the local whore in Gold Town and she has the uncanny ability to shoot ultra fast with her weapons to score multiple wounds on her opponent with great succession. Heck, I saw her once do just that when one of her clients got way too rough with her and even refused to pay! I suppose it makes sense, eventually.
Character:
Location:
- None
Unlocking item:
- Holy Bible (both)
Item's description:
- Driscoll: This gutted bible was once used by a preacher, but now he's an outlaw and he uses the bible paiges as his toilet paper.
- Deek: A blessed book used by a an outlaw.
Journal Entry:
- Driscoll's entry: "Dear colleagues, Oh, I'm afraid I took a bad time to travel to the town of Brimstone, where I so generously wanted to be a dentist and build a church. Our coach was assaulted on the road by some cavemen-looking creatures. When I told the banditos I work as a dentist, they took me to their lair or cave and begged me to cure their leader's toothache. Ever since I have found the outlaw life much to my liking and plan to continue with it until my end. - Father Driscoll"
- Deek's entry: "Dear Father Braham, I'm afraid I took a bad time to go to Gold Town with a coach since our coach was attacked by outlaws. The scum held us up by gunpoint, but when they found out about my former profession as a dentist, they took me to their leader's cabin to cure his toothache. My operation was successful and the leader's teeth felt as good as new! Since then I prefer the life of an outlaw myself and I threw the bible in the trash can. - Yours truly, Norman Deek"
Character:
- Bandito/Cesar Higueras
Location:
- None
Unlocking item:
- Ruined Poncho (both)
Item's description:
- Bandito: This old poncho belonged to a smelly bandit, but perhaps you can use it as well if you ever feel cold.
- Cesar: This poncho looks dirty, but it's a fashionable clothing item in Escalera, if you clean it up, of course.
Journal Entry:
- Bandito's entry: Percy said: "There were three of them wearing bandanas over their faces, and all you could see was their eyes. But the SMELL! I do hope they will use some of that money to buy a bath."
Cesar's entry: Same as Bandito's except that instead of Percy it says 'Harmon said.'
Character:
Location:
- Widow's Palace/Silver Town or Fallen Creek
Unlocking item:
- Beard Comb (both)
Item's description:
- Rufus: The man who had this never used it because he didn't even have a beard! But he was the best brawler in the West. Weird, right?
- Sam: This comb was used to style the most fearsome beard in the frontier. The beard of a particular handsome brawler and saloon owner.
Journal Entry:
- Sam's entry: Sam is usually accompanied in town and tow by his lil' brother, Dan. Sam runs and owns the Brimstone saloon. Both brothers know they are untouchable if they stick together. I don't think I've ever seen such a stronger man like o' Sam, maybe Pig Josh or his brother. His predilection for riots and chaos in my town has caused many problems, even in his saloon. Hanz Kenyon, the barman in the 'loon will admit it that the showgirls and most prostitutes at the place love Sam and give him a lot of head plus oral.
- Rufus' entry: Rufus is usually accompanied by his little brother, Willie, in the saloon of Gold Town. They both know they are untouchable, if they stay together and are followed by their minions, like Abraham Mars. I've never seen a stronger man than Rufus, perhaps Guard Dig. His predilection for the riots caused many problems. Milord Weaver, the saloon owner, made a deal with him; If any trouble starts in his bar, Ruff will finish it and throw the troublemakers out on the street. The girls in the saloon love Rufus, they mostly are seen lying near him.
Character:
- Chicken/Verner Corn
Location:
- Twin Rocks/Twin Rocks or Silver Town
Unlocking item:
- Nuttin'
Journal Entry:
- Chicken's entry: Chicken is one of Ugly Chris' officers. He is as cowardly as he is stupid. He prefers the company of hens like his fellow gang members and is possibly a zoophiliac.
- Verner's entry: Corn is one of Ugly Chris' most cowardly boys. He is about as bright as a broken lightbulb. He seems to prefer to stick close to his fellow gang members, he really is a pussi.
Character:
- Sissy Fess/Hassun
Location:
- Sunset Canyon/Fallen Creek
Unlocking item:
- Small boulder/Bloody Rock
Item's description:
- Sissy: This little boulder ain't got nothing on the large-as stones Sidney Fess throws.
- Hassun: Blood on the rock! Do you know who put it on? A Native American who love to threw rocks at people and kill them.
Journal entry:
- Sissy's entry: This Sissy is anything but. Apparently, he hides and runs around with Bad Bessie and her gang in Bessie's self-named Canyon. He loves the Canyon so much because it is the only place where there are so many rocks able to be thrown around. Sidney does not do much more than throw stones, but when you get hit by one, nothing else seems to matter. He has a bounty reward of 120 dollars on his head, alive or dead for robbery, battery and murder.
- Hassun: Based on reports from sheriffs in a dozen other cities, this Native savage ain't to be messed with. Apparently he's one of the Natives working for that Dutch guy called Van der Linde. Apparently, he decided to work for him because there's quite a few stones to throw around at Spider's Quarry and because Hassun hates the white man as much as Dutchie. Hassun loves to torture his victims in the most Islamic way possible: throw stones at 'em. He has a $250 bounty on his head, dead or alive.
Character:
Location:
- Mould Farm/Twin Rocks
Unlocking item:
- Bandanna/Black Bandana
Item's description:
- Smitty: A perfect scarf to hide your face with when you have a cough.
- Link: The perfect way to mask your identity for a train robbery.
Journal Entry:
- Smitty's entry: "To all the lawmen out there, The same guy just robbed my train for the sixth time. He's always a part of some gang or another. Sometimes he wears a bandanna or a hat and sometimes he don't. Every time that skunk shows his face around, good people die on my train and lots of stuff gets stolen. He is clearly recognisable even if he wears a bandanna. I would be obliged if any of you sheriffs would hang this fella. Most sincerely. - Hank Pallman, engineer of the Pan-Atlantic railroad"
- Link's entry: "Dear men of the law: My train was attacked for the sixth time now by the same person, same gang. Guy sometimes wears a dirty bandanna, sometimes a black bandanna over his creepy (or should I say crappy) face. His friends call him "Link", so I see no reason to waste time with a bandanna. I would be very happy if one of the bounty hunters or sheriffs captured this criminal and had him hanged. - A witness, Wade Fakcard, also the Atlantic Train engineer on the Gold Town line."
Character:
Location:
- Fallen Creek (both)
Unlocking item:
- Arrowhead/Christmas Tree
Item's description:
- Snake: This arrowhead belonged to a warrior from the Black Elk.
- Helaku: Christmas Tree used to be for holidays, but was used by Natives in battle.
Journal entry:
- Snake's entry: I guess the Indians are like everybody else, some are good, honest folk and some'd do anything for gold... Standing Snake is in the latter. Along with the rest of his Black Elks, Snake was hired by General Diego to guard the Hell Pass canyon in case any of his prisoners escaped and if any unwanted visitors scooted around. Rumours has it he also bought a ton of mushroom and snake oil elixer from Prof. Perry to poison his arrowheads.
- Helaku's entry:
I guess that Indians are like everyone else, some are honest, some are not. Helaku is in the past word: with other members of Dutch's old tribe, Agustin Allende helped evacuate Bear Mountains to move in gold from Mexico and the surrounding area. That's tough, very tough.
Character:
Location:
- Twin Rocks or Widow's Palace/Twin Rocks
Unlocking item:
- Straw Pipe/Old Pipe
Item's description:
- Twiggy: This straw used to be chewed all around in Martin Phelps' foul-smellin' mouth.
- Woody: This old pipe is the sole surviving testimony that an old outlaw named Woody ever lived.
Journal Entry:
- Twiggy's entry: I heard this outlaw had to order his gun belts from the children's section of the gunsmith's catalogue, which would explain its orange, child-like colour. "Twiggy", who can't use a rifle well, misses most of his shots and isn't much of a horseman, managed to stay alive only due to his unnatural thinness for he was as skinny as Smiley Fawler. This man was so fuaking thin he could hide behind a yucca tree without turning sideways.
- Woody's entry: He had ordered matching belts in the Scandinavian section of the catalogue if I remember correctly. In fact Swedish. Woody, who can not use a gun or a rifle very well when drunk, which is almost all the time, managed to stay alive only due to his boys always being around where he is. He sure can talk a lot of bullcrap how tough he is, tho, but it's all for the show, he can't do nuffin.
Character:
Location:
- MacFarlane's Ranch/Silver Town
Unlocking item:
- Large Blanket/Towel
Item's description:
- Kang: Use this blanket to warm the bandito in you.
- Sid: Now you can give a Gritzlie bear a good shot before he sees you.
Journal Entry:
- Kang's entry: He really isn't very tall, but o' Varmin Kang had been running in gangs for ages and from all around, too. From China to America, this kid gets around. They say that when he was a boy, he seemed older for his age and he terrified all his companions all around the place. Since then, he has been known to fight dirty by punching his victims in the back or kick 'em in their ballsack. Wanted: alive or dead on suspicion of murder and mayhem - Reward of 50 dollars.
- Winkler's entry: Sidford ain't very smart, but despite his stupidity, Winkler is no doubt one of the most sadistic criminals there is. They say that as a kid, he looked older than his age and terrorised all other kids around. He was like a high-school bully, he learned how to shoot and torture at the age of 15, and since then, had betrayed friends. Wanted dead or alive on suspicion of bank robbery - reward of $400.
Character:
Location:
- Fallen Creek (both)
Unlocking item:
- Moose Necklace/Dreamcatcher
Item's description:
- Grizzly: This necklace was passed down to the tribe's chief generation to generation in the Black Elk.
- Brumas: This Dreamcatcher belonged to a holy beast, owned and tamed by the Indian Gang.
Journal Entry:
- Grizzly's enry: Grizzly leads the Black Elk tribe as does Running Moon lead the Red Wolf tribe. Grizzly's tribe got paid with many modern weapons and gold to fight the Wolves in return for working for Javier Diego as his warriors, protecting gold mines and killing trespassers and such. What used to be a proud history of good, honest Native Americans is now nothing more than a bunch of thugs for hire by the Mexican Army. Diego also uses the Tribe leader's giant stature and bearings to threat and force his smelly miners to work more and harder.
- Brumas' entry: Brumas guides the Indian Gang in war with Shadow Wolf's Tribe at Bear Mountains. He has been tamed and made under Agustin Allende as one of his warriors, being ordered to guard gold while other tribesmen deceive the minds of unwilling people. His men used weapons supplied by Agustin himself to lead the tribe through the holy lands around Bear Mountains to fight Shadow Wolf's dogs. Allende also uses Brumas' colossal stature and his proud bearings to induce his miners to work harder or else he'll feed them all to Brumas.
Character:
- Running Moon/Shadow Wolf
Location:
- None
Unlocking item:
- Indian Necklace/Deer Antlers (we covered that already)
Item's description:
- Moon: This Indian necklace was worn by the Chief of the Red Wolves, Running, not Walking, Moon.
Journal Entry:
- Moon's entry: Chief Running Moon KNEW there was gold on the Devil Mines. Things is that he respected his ancestors and the ways of his people too much to disturb the places they considered sacred, even though the mine was literally demonic, not only in its name but in its greed as well. Moon and Nate Harlow weren't talking much when Nate and Dixmor discovered gold, otherwise the chef would have stepped and put a to stop to all this but he said it's better to let fate do her thing. Nate was so excited about the gold mine that he didn't stop to think about what would happen if the news got out. When Diego showed up, things only bad for the Chief. When Diego and Mayor Griffon hired Grizzly and the Black Elks as their muscle, things only got worse.
- Shadow's entry: Same as his OG counterpart.
Character:

Location:

Unlocking item:
- Broken Glasses (both)
Item's description:
- These broken-s spectacles got broken during a battlefield. (Both.)
Journal Entry:
- Willy's entry: Blind Willy was only blind because he refused to wear those broken-ass glasses they found on the beetlefield, haha! However, that never stopped him from traveling around the territory, trying to help decent folk out and have a little chat. He's a good conductor on his wagon and knows the railroads like žhe back of his hand! Since he can't see well, he prefers a Gatling gun to defend his as from outlaws.
- Gram-Jam's entry: This old fool was only still alive because he wasn't much of a threat to villains like Allende and Irish's boys. Apparently he was an annoying old timer who always ran his mouth. That may be why he was travelling around the countries on a wagon with a Gatling on it - to be prepared to defend himself if things got rough our out of hand. He's old alright, and thusly knows a lot about how this country used to be.
Character:
Location:
- Twin Rocks (both)
Unlocking item:
- Shaw's Sign/Open Sign
Item's description:
- Shaw: This sign was stolen recently from a travelling merchant.
- Reese: Open fer buzzness.
Journal Entry:
- Shaw's entry: It seems like Ralph Clover'do anything to avoid some competition. Last night he send me this letter suggesting I lock the Jew guy up because he gets his merchandise from thieves. What a bunch of baloney and irony! I'LL DO NO SUCH THING!
- Reese's entry: Thurlow Reese was a random guy I met many times walkin' from town to town. It appeared so he was a merchant of sorts. Norris Laskey, proprietor of the General Store in Gold Town, views Mr. Reese as a threat and he wrote a letter to me suggesting that Reese's low prices are only possible because he gets his merchandise from thieves and bandits.

- Good for mixing soup or something like that. (Both.)
Journal entry:
- Fred doesn't have one.
- Dewey's entry: In the words of Dewey Greenwood: "Pourin' drinks in Silver Town is like handin' rotten meat to starvin' wolves. I mostly serve whiskey or vodka up straight, but I always keep my ole' mixin' spoon at hand. It's point is honed razor sharp. Just right for nailin' a gunslinger's hand to the bar long enough for me to grab my shotgun in case they want to rob me."
Character:
Location:

Unlocking item:
- Slender Man's whip/White Flag
Item's description:
- Brennan: This weird, tentacle-looking whip originally belonged to a German cryptid who was faceless and very tall.
- Shelby: If you are ready to surrender, take this towel, a stick and tie them up together.
Journal Entry:
- Gabby's entry: Ahhhhhha! The good o' "Gabby" Brennan sure has earned himself this precious gem of a nickname. He's the most nervous man I've ever seen and jumps all around when on duty. After ten years of career as a stagecoach driver in the Territorial Express, it is a miracle that he is still alive! He can be seen having an elegant whip, quite powerful, but he loves his horses too much to use it.
Bancroft's entry: The good o' Shelby Bancroft has sure earned his fame. He's the most nervous man I've ever seen and jumps all around his darn coach when he's on duty (not really, butt steel). After ten years of career being a stagecoacher for the Territorial Express, it is a miracle that he is still alive. Well, on the other hand it really isn't considering the fact the "bandit" countries he rides through aren't bandit at all, just fool of Naives. He has an elegant whip that was given to him by Slender Man, but he loves his horses too much to use it.

Journal Entry:

Character:
Location:
- Nope
Unlocking item:
- Brown bandana/Gun Holster
Item's description:
- Sanchez: Recently obtained bandana from a train robbery.
- Malloy: This holster is soft to use, yet healthy from regular cleaning and oiling. It's the holster of a gunman who has lost his brains to whiskey.
- Journal Entry:
- Sanchez's entry: This crazy hombre always seems to get away with it. It seems that he has participated in almost all the train and bank robberies in these here places. He always wears a quick-draw holster and a scarf covering his face, but witnesses recall his cratsy eyes the most. Truth is Juan "Loco" Sanchez has been prying on trains ever since he was young back in the 70's. You don't need to know his name to know he's cratzy.
- Malloy's entry: This nutter always gets his way. He seems to have participated in almost every train robbery and bank heist of these round' 'er places. He always wears a holster fast unsheathed and a bowler hat, but his witnesses recall his drunken eyes the most. You don't need to know his nationality to know he's drunk, not offense.
Character:
- Digs Fowler/Digby Haskins
Location:
- Carnival Outpost/Red Grass
Unlocking item:
- Dirty Pickaxe/Dirty Shovel
Item's description:
- Fowler: This should come in handy if you ever want to try your luck in mining or prospecting.
- Haskins: Handy for burying your enemies or digging up in the mines.
Journal Entry:
- Fowler's entry: I don't know if Gordon Fowler got his nickname from the way he digs into every bit of food he can find by robbing peoples' chests on the side, or the way he attacks folks with his pick-axe by sometimes stabbing them in the chest. In which case, he is disgusting and fat and a chest attacker.
- Haskins' entry: I don't know if Digby Haskins got so fat by robbing restaurants, there ain't much of 'em around here, but he sure as shootin' does stink! Well, in any case his mining, criminal, fat hide ain't welcome in my town.
Character:
Location:

Unlocking item:
- Noose/Tombstone
Item's description:
- Jesse: The infamous part of a noose that was used to "hang" Jesse Lynch.
- Forth: All that remains now of Thompson Town is grave, like this one, taken from the town cemetery in the city.
Journal Entry:
- Jesse's entry: Sheriff Paul O'Grady tried to hang Jesse when he was caught killing at least 15 people during the McDonnell massacre near Hell's Creek. The next morning O'Grady assumed someone had stolen his body... Until he saw a pale man in Jesse's clothes and a noose around his neck robbing a stagecoach and taking off with it. O'Grady couldn't believe his eyes. Even though he was no sceptick of the supernatural, he felt to tell that Lynch was no ordinary man. The thief fled to Black Town, assuming no law enforcement would dare to pursue him. Unfortunately, he assumed right.
- Forth's entry: Rj Peart tried to hang a grave robber named Moses a while back after he was caught killing someone in the Thompson Town's graveyard. The next morning Peart assumed someone had swiped his body... until a creepy man wearing Moses's clothes and a hat on his head came to town. The robber stole the money he needed and headed back in the direction of Thompson Town, figuring no sheriff would dare to follow him after the massacre that happened was haunting that area or at least they thought.

Journal Entry:

- Sonny's entry: In the past soooo many years ago, a black negro cyclops came to Silver Town. He said that he is a voodoo doctor and said that his son called "Sonny" was also a doctor, but a medical one instead. Well, it's hard to imagine that Sonny Higbee has had that job, but perhaps that's why the ancient surgical instrument he has is keeped inside the pocket of his suit. I just wished that his daddy would took away his bonesaw...
Character:
- Loaf Whitney/Mo van Barr
Location:
- None
Unlocking item:
- Broken Shovel/Shovel
Item's description:
- Whitney: This old shovel was used by George Whitney to bury his enemies.
- Barr: Good for digging gold and graves, or hitting someone's faces with it.
Journal Entry:
- Loaf's entry: As a child, this littel Whitney was not particularly bright and was nick-named "Little Oaf" after his father, Big Oaf Whitney. As time got by and he grew bigger, he became known only as "Loaf" due to his love for dough, and as it was seen he was anything but little now. When he's not helping his father rob innocent travelers or running errands for Bloody Tom, he spends his days digging holes into the ground with his shovel.
- Barr's entry: As a child, he was called "Little Moe" or "Small jerk" because of his father, and his homie, Sonny Higbee calls him the same. By the time that came to be, he begun to be known only as "Moe" or "Mo", because as he grew bigga, there was no need for him to be called "little" anymore. When not helping his homie rob travellers and giving the money to Walton Lowe, he spends his day digging holes in the ground with his shovel like a child.
Character:
Location:
- Diego's Fort/Escalera
Unlocking item:
- Stars and medals/General's Stripes
Item's description:
- Javier: These starts and medals belonged to the Mexican General and now that he's lost them, you can play the General.
- Allende: The General lost his Stripes, now you can be the general.
Journal Entry:
- Javier's entry: First time I saw General Diego was also my last. I heard him laughing after striking it rich with gold thanks to a prospector he just captured who managed to buy his life back. I just know that with all that gold in his possession, he's gonna build himself quite an army.
- Allende's entry: Allende was mostly known as being the "Happy Dictator" of Mexico, ruling with fear and chaos. The first time I saw him, was actually my last. He was seen drinking in the saloon of Escalera, nobody said a word when he was around. His ruling luckily came to an end in 1889, when he was killed by John Mersten's boy.
Character:
Location:
- Diego's fort/Ramita de la Baya
Unlocking item:
- None
Journal Entry:
- Daren's entry: Daren has been the right-hand of Diego as far as 1866, right after the goddam Civil War where Daren apparently served in the Union. I doubt Diego would be able to make himself General at all, if it weren't for Daren to stand besides him all the time. When his arm was blown off by a young Red Harlow, Diego paid out of his own pocket to have his arm replaced with a mortar, he did pay off the best doctors and gunsmiths money could buy.
- Espizona's entry: Espi is known as one of the best soldiers Allende ever had. He was a successful and very good captain, according to most of his comrades and even the enemy rebels. Yeah, I also doubt Agustin himself would have become Colonel, if Espizona weren't standing besides him all the goddam time.
Character:
Location:

Unlocking item:
- Military Boots (both)
Item's description:
- Jose: These boots belonged to a serious kicker who got his kicks kickin' people around.
- Carlito: Can you guess what the man who was wearing this do? (Whispers) Touch himself at night. Ha ha ha ha ha! Nah, just kiddin'. (Whispers) Kicked anyone who was standing on his way.
Journal Entry:
- Jose doesn't have a page.
- Carlito's entry: If Carlito Borrego was anything, he was an angry man. He raged, taunted and shot people. Once I saw him knock out his friend with a single punch, Wilfredo Arrabal, during a card game in which Carlito was losing. I think it was poker or blackjack. Despite Arrabal being physically tougher than Carlitos and higher-ranking, he seemed to fear him. But at the end it was Carlito who got raged at and taunted - by none other than Jack Marston himself.
Character:
Location:
- None (probably The Diablo Mine and Plata Grande if downloaded as playable characters)
Unlocking item:
- Mexican Cavalry Boots (both)
Item's description:
- Bufias: These stained, Mexican army boots belonged to one sadistic capitan, aka captain.
- Javier: These Mexican cavalry boots were used by a Mexican army hitman to kick enemies.
Journal Entry:
- Ted's entry: I think I've never met a man as of thick skin as Bufias. It seems his sadism is the only thing that can match up his rank. I once saw him kill a man for laughing at his o'l stained boots. Bufias killed him alright and used his body as a couch for the rest of the evening and sat on his face. If the man had known where the stain had come from, he probably wouldn't have laughed.
- Javier's entry: I think I've never met a more evil man than Javier. It seems that he has no fear or shame for what he does. I once saw him kill a man for laughing at his o'l boots. Javier killed him and used his body as a stove for the rest of the evening and put pans on his head. If the guy had know what Javier does to his enemies, he probably would not have laughed unless he's a complete idiot.
Character:
Unlocking item:
- Gold Watch (both)
Item's description:
- Alonso: A Lieutenant in the Mexican Army used this watch he stole from one of his vics as his personal trophy.

Journal Entry:
- Alonso's entry: Hell, he doesn't have 1.
- Felipe's entry: Something about stealing watches off his victims, idk.
Character:
Unlocking item:
- Keys (both)
Item's description:
- The Keys to the Fort. (Both)
Journal Entry:
- Sergio's entry: That one time I was held prisoner at the Diablo mine I saw a guy called "The Duellist" or "El Duelista". He was sitting, playing blackjack, uno or poker while everyone else worked their stinky butts off. The miners did not even know his name, and they were not shy men. It wasn't until I saw Sergio cleaning his pistols I knew what he was there for: Pest control.
- Raul's entry: One time I was in the Plata Grande mine, I saw a guy they called The Major. That was his rink in the army. He was sitting playing cards like poker while the others worked. They all tried not to annoy him. The miners did not even know his name, and they were not shy men as far as I kno'. Right when I saw Raul cleaning his guns I did know what he was there for - Pest control.
Character:
- Pvt. Eli Hanson/Pvt. Cesar Degmuzan
Unlocking item:
- Gold Fillings (both)
Item's info:
- Eli: Gold from the Devil mine.
- Cesar: Gold has many uses.
Journal Entry:
- Eli doesn't have it.
- Cesar's entry: In an army like Allende's, we needed someone like Cesar: Brutal, merciless, sadistick, tough, and always ready to follow orders. Loyal to a fault as well. Not a bad deal for a bag of gold every once in a while, right?
Character:
- Pick-Axe Miller/Commander Wilfredo Arrabal
Unlocking item:
- Stew Pot (both)
Item's info:
- Miller: Good for cooking your vittles.
- Arrabal: From what I know, an old army commander used this o' pot to cook his wittles.
Journal Entry:
- Miller doesn't have it.
- Arrabal's entry: Wilfredo Arrabal was no ordinary guy, or so it seemed. He swore that ten + years working in the army did not affect him at all nor his sanity. But there was something curious about him, and that was that he seemed very cowardly for someone of his position. I heard other, lower-ranked soldiers would order him around not vice versa. Whichever the case, Wilfredo got killed in the end, possibly by Jacky Marston.
Character:
Location:
- Fallen Creek
Unlocking item:
- None
Journal Entry:
- Manny Wide, a simple wooden boy like Pinocchio, grew up in the Umpqua forest surrounded by family and friends. One day, loggers came and killed all of his loved ones. Poor Mr. Wide found himself trapped as a target dummy in a gunsmith's store. However, despite his fear of loggers and termites, Manny rose up like a phoenix out of the ashes in that store and the only thing left in the ashes after he came to Brimstone were the gunsmith and said store.
Character:
- Carnaby Peabody/Baxter Deoton
Unlocking item:
- Rare Coins/Sign
Item's description:
- Peabody: These Spanish coins are an old part of frontier history.
- Baxter: This sign says the bank is open.
Journal Entry:
- Carnaby's entry: Carnaby has always thought about only one thing: Business. Socialising for him was just a way to make money. When Mayor Griff bought the bank, Carnaby was offered a slice of the pumpkin pie if he recycled the profits for him from the mine. Considering the other option would put him six feet deep, I can't blame him for being a sellout.
- Bax's entry: Baxter was a greedy bank director who always had only one thing on his mind: muneh. He just wanted money, money and moneh! When Nate Johnson bought the shebang and his bank, he was offered a bunch of more money if he would transfer the gold from Plata Grande into coins for him. Being the greedy pig that he is, Baxter instantly agreed and didn't care at all if the word got out.
Character:
- Fitch/E.H. Katscmar
Unlocking item:
- Measuring Tape (both)
Item's info:
- The measuring tape of the local tailor in Brimstone. (Katscmar's is the same except that it's Gold Town instead of Birmstone)
Journal Entry:
- Fitch's entry: Fitch has long been the laughing stock of Brimstone for as long as Juan can count, having failed in all sort of occupations. Over time he realised that the only thing he was good at was clothin' ppl. Indeed, Fitch is one of the best tailors I ever met and I met a lot of 'em. Many people are still curious about what job Fitch will try to learn next, though.
- E.H.'s entry: Katscmar has been the Golden Town's tailor for quite a while, having made many suits and dresses for the upper class of this sity. Katscmar is indeed a dam good tailor, he always offers me a new set of suits, hats and ties. I really wonder who'd dress us up if some unlucky accident were to befall him, hehe.
Character:
- Ralph Clover/Norris Laskey
Unlocking item:
- Abacus (both)
Item's info:
- Clover: Well, if you ever have some of those hard, logical mathematical problems you need to solve, this should cum in hand (y).
- Laskey: A shopkeeper in an Golden Town particularly uses this abacus to count. Oops! Did I said that?
Journal Entry:
- Clover's entry: This Ralphie Clover guy sure was a strange fella. I'm not too sure all of his products he sold were legitimate. Might wanna investigate him sooner rather than later. Then again, he did give me a Sheriff's discount so maybe I won't.
- Laskey's entry: Norris Laskey was the best shopkeeper around these here parts. Western Vagina was lucky to have a Canadian like him in it. I still remember the day he gave me that Govt.'s agency discount, those were the days. He sure talks too much, tho.
Character:
- Percy Merriweather/Harmon Weinstein
Unlocking item:
- Journal/Teleprinter
Item's info:
- Percy: If counting numbers is your game, this will serve u well.
- Harmon: One of the first teleprinters in the country.
Journal Entry:
- Percy's entry: Percy, who is not exactly an Atlas Jones, looked for one thing that would certainly attract the opposite sex: Money! Unfortunately for him, he only managed to work with other people's money, behind the bank counter. Yeah, he ain't exactly a ladies' man.
- Harmon's entry: This Jew guy was a coward, through and through. Although judging from the number of how many times the bank has been robbed, I can't judge him too harshly. He always faints and falls over when the bank gets robbed. Fortunately for him, the banditos never take their time to kill him or just don't notice his fainted ass on the floor. Perhaps they even think he's already dead?
Character:
- Longhorn Luke/Julias Grimes
Location:
- None, probably MacFarlane's Ranch if they were a DLC.
Unlocking item:
- Dirty Lasso/Lasso
Item's description:
- Longhorn: This lasso was used by Longhorn Luke to capture the biggest buffalo ever tamed in the frontier history!
- Grimes: Julias Ricketts used this very lasso to hogtie the biggest buffalo ever recorded in the Southwest.
Journal Entry:
- Luke doesn't have it.
- Julias' entry: Julias Grimes (also known as Ricketts) was a dangerous outlaw, cattle rustler and the cousin of Landon Ricketts. When the mayor became aware of his dirty deeds, he actually invested in him and set him up with Charlie Mash to work as his thugs. Julias then used his lasso and his guns to make people dance the exact way Johnson whistled. Makes me regret not treating him better.
Character:
Location:
- Mould Farm/Beecher's Hoe
Unlocking item:
- Broken dreamcatcher/Wedding Rope
Item's description:
- Star: This dreamcatcher, which belonged to the Red Wolf, seems to have been broken in a battlefield.
- Marston: This is the very ceremonial rope Abigail Marston wore for her wedding.
Journal Entry:
- Star's: Entry: Falling Star, Red Harlow's mother, sure was one tough woman. Her unique attack was to activate her arrows into explosives that could blow up once they came in contact with the enemy. I suppose this is what kept her alive all that time when she ran with her father's men.
- Abigail's entry: Despite dying early in Jack's childhood at the hands of outlaws, I'm sure Abigail would be very proud to know what a tough warrior her son has became.
Character:
Location:
- Mould Farm/Beecher's Hoe
Unlocking item:
- Pan/Old hat
Item's description:
- Nate: This pan was used to harvest gold from Fallen Creek or something.
- Marston: The hat of an old gunslinger, Jack Marston's father.
Journal Entry:
- Nate's Entry: Doesn't have it. Someone scratched it out.
- John's entry: Johnny Marston always carried a bit of tobacco with him in case he would ever get lost. He sure could bit more than he could chew.
Character:
- Hanz Kenyen/Milord Weaver
Unlocking item:
- Broken beer bottle/Cloth
Item's description:
- Hanz: This beer bottle was broken in a saloon fight not too long ago.
- Milord: The cloth of one dedicated barman.
Journal Entry:
- Hanz's Entry: Hanz probably knows a lot more of this town than anyone else, including the Mayor. They say that one thing he can't stand are saloon fights, that they break all of his furniture. Well, fact is that Hanz was always a paranoid man, and saloon fights or no saloon fights, he's still scared.
- Milord's entry: Weaver probably knows more than any other guy about Gold Town, excluding the mayor. They say he likes fights, that they make him feel young, but only because he can test his strength. One thing is for sure; if you mock him I can guarantee you won't leave his saloon without a bump on your face. It's hard to sue him either.
Character:
- Gabriel Navarro/Oscar Navarro
Location:
- Widow's Palace/Silver Town
Unlocking item:
- Ornate Bottle/Whisky Bottle
Item's description:
- Gabriel: The man who drank from this had quite a taste for tequila. Too bad that's the only thing he had the taste for.
- Oscar: Ye ol' whiskey bottle! It gives you the happiness for all afternoon.
Journal Entry:
- Gabriel's Entry: Gabriel eats a lot every day, but his fat-as belly is certainly not an obstacle to drawing his precious weapon. In Mexico (Mehiko, Meksikoooo), no one had the bowls to mess with him, or even talk to him. Life was too dull for him in the south when he killed all who opposed him, so he came up north to Brimstone to seek his fortune. I have to admit, as a gunslinger he's not bad, but battle royals ain't no place for those who 'ain't bad'. You are either the best or you're a wooden target.
- Oscar's entry: Fact is, he killed four strangers in self-defence that I know of. That's the job description of a hired gun if he ever was one - and one day I'll prove it that he sure as hell wasn't.
Character:
- Paul Navarro/Abraham Mars
Unlocking item:
- Sombrero (both)
Item's description:
- The hat keeps out the sun. It can also hide your beady eyes from view, or it can be used as a hair armour, haha! Get it? (Both, except the tailor doesn't laugh in 3dn edition)
Journal Entry:
- Paul's Entry: Swig started more businesses in town than he had wives, but lost them all to the bottle o' scrumpy, whiskey or tequila. I bet the bartenders are gonna miss him when he's gone.
- Mars' entry: Abe worked as a lackey for more men than he has beard. It's a miracle he's still alive after all the crap he's pulled. Oh, but I promise you, people, Abe's days are numbered.
Character:
Location:
- Mayor Griffon's Mansion/Nate Johnson's Mansion
Unlocking item:
- None (weird, righ?)
- Journal Entry: Oh, that Mr. Kelley sure is one fast sum of a gum. For someone working as Mayor Griff's top gun, he has to be. I once saw him strut around with a child on his arm, probably some sort of apprentice or even a relative? Well, in any case, Kelley is a fourth time BR winner. Ain't no man beaten him yet.
Character:
Location:
- Widow's Palace or Griffon's Mansion/Gold Town
Unlocking item:
- Fancy tie/Handkerchief
Item's description:
- Billy: This silky, expensive tie must be one of the finest in the territory.
- Wolf: Use it to wipe your gun or for the nose.
Journal Entry:
- Kidd's entry: Kidd swears that he did not kill anyone that one night, but Hanz Kenyon remembers it differently. It seemed that the Kid boasted of having killed a leader of a gang of outlaws, taking his place. I do not know if it's true, but unfortunately, it surely is. I was also unable to prevent him from attending the Battle Royale. When Bill wants to prove himself, there is no way in backing him down, even if he is just a boy.
- Wolf's entry: Camelion swears he did not do anything that night, but Milord, the bartender, remembers it differently. It seems that Camelion was very angry and killed a leader of a gang of criminals, getting some bounty money. I do not know if it's true, but for some strange reason he is never seen anywhere at night - not even at home! Some folks say he's a werewolf. I can also say when someone wants to prove himself, there's no way to make him resist and prove the prover wrong.
Character:
- Woodrow Klein/Joseph Scrantom
Location:
- None
Unlocking item:
- Broom and Tray (both)
Item's description:
- Woody: This will serve you well if you wish to clean up the mess in your house.
- Scrantom: Useful to keep the house clean, ain't it? Haha!
Journal Entry:
- Woodrow's entry: The previous local barber hired Woody to sweep, mop and dust the floor. But when the barber gave the Mayor a cut while shaving him, Woody found himself suddenly promoted as Griffon had the previous barber executed by throwing him off his mansion and then burning him in the fireplace. After the funeral, people didn't seem to care that Woody didn't have much barbering experience. However, his hands were steady, and that counted for much more than style in a place where customers keep their pistols close at hand while they shave, hehe. That's just how things is, I'm afraid.
- Scrantom's entry: The previous owner of the East Indian restaurant suddenly died after almost poisoning the Mayor one day while he ate at his place. The next day, Joseph Scrantom took his place and his cooking techniques were much better than the previous guy's. People didn't seem to notice that Joey cough in their food and spat in it, however the way he served his meal, it is not surprising no one noticed. In a place where the looks are the most important, Joey fit right in.
Character:
Location:
- Griffon's mansion or its garden/Johnson's mansion or its entrance
Unlocking item:
- Campaign Poster (both)
Item's description:
- Griffon: This is the poster that won Grimm Griffon the second term as Mayor.
- Johnson: If we lived like in old times, Johnson would try to crown himself a king, not run for the mayor.
Journal Entry:
- Griffon's entry: The Mayor of Brimstone sure was a tough man, but his policies were even tougher. Amongst all, he had some sort of "special attack" which seemed powerful and comedic at the same time. The mayor, when in most dire cases, would throw himself on the ground and roll around like a pig in mud all the while shooting his weapon at the invader like mad. He even performed this trick when drunk at the Brimstone saloon and pretended as if someone wanted to assassinate him. People couldn't help but to be impressed. He had himself for a feudal king of this country and we all had to answer to him.
- Nate's entry: Mayor Nathaniel "Nate" Johnson was one of the snobest man I have ever seen in my entire life. But anyways I still was working for him, along with all the Marshals and agents. If we would have live like in old times, Mayor Johnson would be the king of the country and all of us would be his slaves, knights, pawns, that kinda things... One thing is for sure, he was working with a criminal named Bill Williamson, in an old mine in Mexico.
Character:
Location:
- None
Unlocking item:
- Bloodied scalps/Lion's Hair (both)
Item's description:
- Marquez: Luckily for the soldier who did this, killing and torturing is a part of the job when serving in the Army.
- Nick Funtz: This belongs to a warrior.
Journal entry:
- Marquez's entry: Marquez comes across like a typical Sergeant; Mean, foul-mouthed and merciless. Plenty of guys around these parts like to hurt people for fun, but Marquez goes over the line and carries torn scalps to prove it. Luckily for him, hurting people is a part of his job.
- Funtz's entry: Funtz is a typical Private. Cruel, bad spoken and ruthless. A lot of his kind just like to do damage for fun, but Funtz is the most sadistic and racist one out of them all.
Fortunately for him, hurting people is part of the official description of his work.
Character:
- Jacques Markus/William Williamson
Location:
- None
Unlocking item:
- Fur hat/Hammer and Anvil
Item's description:
- Markus: Now who would wear this hot thing in this climate?
- Williamson: Hammer is good for anvil, yes?
Journal entry:
- Markus' entry: Page is torn out.
- William's entry: The Police Department of Indiana offers $50 in gold to the person who remains of the name William Williamson, aka Billy the Cowboy, for murder and for theft of money, powdered drugs (whatever that is), and gold nuggets. "We have all kinds of bandits but this one is a real stone cold killer. We shoulda hung him when we had the chance" said one of the law officers.
Character:
- Verne Wiggins/Lewis Shelton
Unlocking item:
- Cord of Wood (both)
Item's description:
- Verne: When winter comes, make sure you have these to warm yourself up before cold bites you in the tush.
- Shelton: Winter is coming, my friend, so make sure you have a bunch of these ready for the stove.
Journal entry:
- Verne's entry: Verne is one of the settlers who gave birth to Brimstone over 40 years ago. Damn, Verne has survived everything and anything that can happen to an old gunslinger and he'd be more than happy to tell you about it, if you have the time to listen. Many stopped listening as soon as he starts talking, for he talks for hours... literally. Then came Mathias Lamprey, his bff. The two's endless chatter is like a pony express running through three states.
- Shelton's entry: Lewis is one of the settlers who founded Silver Town at least 20 years ago. It seems that Lewis has survived everything that can happen to an old gunslinger and life here in Gold Town hasn't changed him one bit. He loves going into the details of how this country used to be, whether you wanna talk to him or not. His younger brother, though, Irvin, cannot avoid Lewis' tongue as he spits splinters all around his mouth thx to his wooden teeth. Irvin can't help butt be entertained.

Item's description:
- You are sure to see at least one of these when you go to your grandma's for some vegetable or chicken soup.
Journal Entry:
- Abigail's husband owned a feed shop where he worked hard for over 20 years to build that store into a cash cow. Some say Albert got his drive from his fear of Abby, as she packed quite a punch, but only Albert knows for sure. Others say their products were actually pretty sithy but no one had the bowels to stand up to old Abigail. No one! So, she started haggling with the suppliers and stroke fear into 'em bastards. I think Albert's feed shop was the only place where he felt truly relaxed, so he would spent as much a' time there as possible.
Character:
- Rico Pedrosa/Hestor Frith
Location:
- Twin Rocks/Fallen Creek or Twin Cox
Unlocking item:
- Woman Photo/Red Bandanna
Item's description:
- Rico: The beauty on this photo is rumoured to have been killed not too long ago. It fuels Rico Pedrosa's thirst for vengeance.
- Hestor: For those hot days on the high summer plains, bring along this bandanna to wipe your face, or use it to do you know what...
Journal Entry:
- Rico: Rico and his brother, Roberto, were the nightmare-like terrors in their hometown in Mexico. When their fame reached the federales, they both had to move north and now their faulty deeds r our problem. Rico lost his mind after his brother left him tied to a stake in the sun for three days to play a prank on him, only giving him water once in a while. He always talks about his beloved sweetheart, but no one has ever seen her.
- Hestor: Actually represents Fawler, but also has Rico's role, so his info will be on Smiley's side
Character:
Location:
- None (probably Twin Rocks if he were a DLC in either game)
Unlocking item:
Item's description:
- A Mexican outlaw used this book to hunt whales, because he was a wailer. However, I suggest he read some other great works of literature as well, like: War & Peace, Who Moved My Cheese? Where is Waldo?
Journal Entry:
- Rico and his brother, Roberto, were the Fathers of Terror in their hometown in Mexico. When their fame got to the federales, the two of them had to move up north and now they're our dam problem. Roberto is said to have a softer spot for books, for he always carries around a copy of Herman Melville's Moby Dick with him, which he reads and rereads every day. Who knows, perhaps he identifies with the whale, but I reckon he also likes to read some other great works of literature, like Malcolm X and The Fountainhead. Where's Waldo?.
Character:
- Huston/Tall Trees Guard
Location:
- None/Fallen Creek or Johnson's mansion yard
Unlocking item:
- None/Mailman Hat
Item's description:
- Official cap of the US mailman.
Journal Entry:
- Huston: Doesn't have it. His counterpart in the same game, Pvt. Chavez does.
- T. T. Guard: When I first met this supposed guardian of the Tall Trees, it was clear that he was not very bright. The fact that he was just a mailman who couldn't even get his large butt on a bike before joining the army doesn't give his character any justice. Despite his low reputation in the army, Johnson still sees him as a capable goon, so he never fires his rotund buttocks.
