Professor Hinkle is a magician and mobster from the 1969 Christmas cartoon called Frosty the Snowman. Similarly to the Grinch, he has an animal henchman whom he mistreats. Only in Grinch's case, it's a dog named Max and in Professor Hinkle's case, it's a rabbit. Professor Hinkle was also born in England to an Italian mother and a Russian father. Similarly to Grinch and Ebenezer Scrooge, he also hated Christmas and called children "silly, silly, silly" for believing snowmen can "come to life" and for believing in Santa Claus. He was also very dedicated in getting his magic hat back from Frosty the Snowman. Grinch, Professor Hinkle, and Ebenezer Scrooge are also all former mobsters of the Cuneo Family, being made members. Therefore, all three of them were (at one point) good friends with Phillip Cuneo Jr. Phill was also the one who taught Professor Hinkle how to perform some magic tricks, something that would fit him a lot more when he would achieve his Joker persona.
