Pochacco is a dog from the Hello Kitty series and a friend of the main heroes.
Pochacco is an athlete of a dog and he has a sporty and playful personality, but sometimes comes across as careless or not too bright. His favourite food is banana ice cream, but being a dog, he shouldn't eat it too much, as it gives him gas and makes him throw up.
In the early years of his pooch life, Pochacco was referred to as "The Yorimichi Dog", growing up in Uji, Kyoto in Japan, the same place where the nobles known as Yorimichi grew up. Since middle school, he had loved basketball and soccer, but when arriving to America, specifically New York, he also got interested in skateboarding and even golf, the rich man's sport. Although he walks upright like all of his friends, he still has a hard time tripping over himself. This is due to his lower intellect, it is harder for him to learn to walk normally like his pals.
Despite allegedly having no mouth, Pochacco can talk, and claims that his mother was a Frisian.
Trivia[]
- Despite looking so similar to him, Pochacco is not based upon Snoopy from Peanuts. In fact, it is the other way around, as Pochacco existed before Peanuts came to be, bee.
- Though his breed is unknown, it is rumoured that he is a Beagle, just like how Snoopy and Courage are.
