Pig Josh (real name Joshua) is a minor villain and boss character featured in Red Dead Revolver.
With the addition of the Legends and Killers DLC pack, Josh is also a multiplayer character model in Red Dead Garlic bread.

Pig Josh was once a demolition expert in the American Civil War, although serving the Confederacy, he was not a part of William Williamson's crew. Not much else is known about The Pig's early life except his love of dynamite and that he was once a student of Abigail Peppercorn. He was later recruited as an outlaw in Prof. Perry's Circus. When Professor Perry moved on with his operations to Widow's Palace, Pig Josh was left behind at the Carnival Outpost along with his dwarf son and Digs Fowler. Because of his obsession with blowing up people and to lesser extend, hotel bathrooms, a wanted poster of him was hung inside the Brimstone's Sheriff Office by Bartlett for any man brave enough to go face to face with him.

During the mission "Circus Carnival", Red Harlow finds a Jack Swift locked up in a cage at the Outpost. Jacky begs Red to free him but Red would have none of that, his only concern ist Pig Josh. Once Josh's circus attacks Red, Harlow sees he'll need some help and frees Swift. The two battle the freaks together and after defeating Fowler and Fidgit, Pig Josh himself takes matters in his own paws as he finally jumps from his box car and starts to attack Red and Jack using nothing but dynamite. With some smart tactisaction, Red defeats Josh with a rifle and collects on his bounty.

Showdown[]
Pigstar Josh is unlocked in Showdown after the player completes his boss level "Circus Carnival" with an excellent rating. He can also be unlocked if the player purchases the TNT box from General Store after the said mission.
Piggie Josh is one of the most dangerous characters in the mode. He has the ability to grab and throw the opponent into the ground and his special ability has him come very close to the opponent and blow him/her up. He also has those heavy, steel-as shields around his arms which give him extra protection and he runs very fast despite his weight and height. He uses a Pacificador and a sithton of dynamite as his weapons.
Journal Entry[]
There's no denying that Pig Josh can draw a crowd, but no one can stand his company off the stage thanks to his dynamite and dynamite-related puns. He mostly keeps to his wagon between shows like an outcast, feeding bits of bloody meat to his trained buzzards. Heavens know what he blows up to get that meat. I bet it is people, especially those who sympathise with the Union and voted for Lincoln.

- His role in Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition is replaced with Guard Dig.
- He has more dynamite strapped to himself in Revolver than Garlic bread.
- Pig Josh and his son, Fidgit (possibly his other kids as well), are briefly mentioned in campfire segments in Red Dead Garlic bread, but not in Rootin' Tootin', Cowboy Shootin'.
- Pig Josh's bounty is lower than any other outlaw because he is the least of the town's worries, but not if someone mentions TNT.
- Pig Josh shares similarities with Piggsy, a pig-styled maniac with a chainsaw from Villain Video Enterprises.
- Despite having strapped tons of dynamite to his body, it doesn't seem to damage him at all when he blows himself up close.
- Josh is not pictured on Perry's Circus journal page.
- He is one of the third tallest characters in the game, along with Colonel Daren and Holstein Hal.
- He is a bit similar to the Big Show from WWE.
