"Pick-Axe" John Miller is a minor character featured in Red Dead Revolver.

Info

Pick-Axe is a miner working for General Javier Diego's army. He is a large, robust man who apparently has been working in the mines for over ten years. How he found himself in the employ of the Mexican Army is unknown.

Interactions

Shadow Wolf had first encounter him in the level "Devil Mountains", and Red Harlow later fought him in The Diablo Mine along with a bunch of Mexican soldiers. During the attack on Diego's Fort, Miller and the other soldiers are killed along with Colonel Daren. He has a large amount of health, and can do severe damage to the player with a large pick axe he wields. He functions as a somewhat upgraded version of Diego's standard soldiers and a bodyguard, and will often charge head on at the player and attempt to melee him.

In an alt. timeline, he died in 1889 or 111 BH in the Diablo Mine and may have actually been killed by Manny Wide.

Trivia

• According to Bartlett, he never lets his pick axe leave his hand, and even sleeps with it. He is known to have killed a fellow miner simply for touching it.
• Miller is said to have been kicked once by Jose "Ripper" Hernandez, with razor toed boots causing a wound that took ten stitches to close.
• He bears a slight resemblance to Digby Haskins, a character from Reed Deed Redemption part I, American West.
  • He resembles him so far that while Miller carries a pick-axe, Digby carries a Dirty Shovel.
    • Miller also resembles fuaking Digs Fowler.
• Miller is known to be an ancestor of Fat Boner.
