Patrizio Monty is a playable character that lives at and co-owns the Cliffside Restaurant all alone with some of the guests in The Sims 2.

Patrizio left his financial career as a car dealer to help his wife Isabella Monty, run the Cliffside Restaurant which he would own after her death. He carries himself with the spastic confidence of someone who is not confident at all and is actually a grumpy old fossil.

Personality and traits[]

Monty is a stereotypical grumpy old man and one of the meaner people (sims) in the game. Patrizio complains about everything in general, even more so now that his wife died, has a hunched back, a very wrinkled face, and also constantly complains about the youth of today. His personality is described as being nothing like his wife's, who was known as a lovable and cheerful grandma, with whom he argued all the time back when she was alive. He claims he regrets ever arguing with her when she died. His personality is in fact more like the late butler Don Treadwell's personality, who was known as a snobby complainer above anything else. Also unlike Isabella, Patrizio contributes nothing to the restaurant at all and his meals are only average. Patrizio simply doesn't want to go and waste away in a retirement home because he loves living up in the mountains too much and doesn't really do anything, claiming he will live in the mountains with the funds he has left until his death.
