Patrick "Patty" O'Leary is a character in the American Crime Tales series who appears in Tales from Queen City: The Ballad of Sean Killian . He is voiced by Barry Bosic
Background[]
Patrick O'Leary ws born in 1979 to Darren and Sheila O'Leary . He grew up in Flannigan, Queen City with his siblings, John , Neil , Frank , Sean , and Jane . As a child, Patrick and Jane were always close due to them being the youngest of their siblings and would often hide together when their older brothers would get violent with each other. Patrick was a sensative and anxious kid who confided in his sister and his oldest brother, John who was many years older then him. Patrick eventually became a member of his brother John's punk band during it's final years as a guitar player from 1993-1994 until the band broke up after the drummer died of a heroin overdose in 1995, developing similar views to John, mainly socialist, anarchist, and anti government views. As a teenager he helped sell marijuana that his brother John grew with his brother, Neil. Eventually he began to have severe panic attacks due to the stress of criminal life and walked away from drug dealing to better his mental health. To medicate he used marijuana that John grew and eventually found himself a job as a store manager but was fired in 2004 and remained unemployed.
Events of The Ballad of Sean Killian[]
By 2007, Patty is still living at his parent's house with his mother who has widowed since 2004 and his siblings, John, Neil, Sean, and Jane. Eventually, at the funeral of his mobster cousin, Quinn , Patrick is introduced to protagonist, Sean Killian that night while he and brothers get drunk. Patrick never participates in the criminal activities of Killian and his brothers but Killian does spend alot of time with Patrick during "hangout sessions", during these, Patrick will tell Sean things and either drink with him or smoke marijuana with him. Overall Patrick is more of a side charcater and is usually seen in the company of his sister and therapist, Jane. Eventually Patrick plans to get a job and seems very happy to be moving forward towards the end of the game.
