The Ouija board (pronounced Weegee) (also known as the 'talking board' or 'the demonic board') is an alleged magical, flat, wooden board marked with the letters of the alphabet, numbers from 0 to 9, the words "yes", "no", (sometimes along with "hello" and "goodbye") along with various symbols. It uses a planchette (not the one one uses when playing a guitar) as a movable indicator or pinpoint to spell out messages during a séance. The messages can either come from a demonic entity (like Zozo or King Pazuzu), a ghostly apparition, like a dead relative, some other supernatural force or if you have gathered around the board with your friends, one of them is probably moving the pinpoint around the board unseen.
With this board, many people believe one is able to contact dead relatives again, but also, as told, some rather unpleasant demonic entities or maybe it's all a hoax? You be the judge.
Scientists, atheist and other types of sceptics claim that the board is indeed a folly and that it's just superstition that makes one or many believe in the Ouija board being legit. For example, the case of believing in the board being able to summon spiritual or netherworld deities is the same case of our Lady of Fátima in Portugal, where allegedly virgin Mary showed up in a village to three little girls and told them to heed her warnings or else they'll surely burn in Hell! (Yes, that's really what that slut said) Soon enough, the entire village claimed to have seen her appearing numerous times and always with similar warnings, well the point is that the entire thing probably didn't happen and it was just a superstitious belief since the entire village was filled with Catholics and children who were taught the bible from the start and could have easily made the story up and the village would accept that and would spread the story like a virus so more and more people would convert to christianity or something.
On the other hand, spiritualists and christians who mess with the board report saying that demonic entities, specifically Zozo, haunt them from the day forward they activated the board and cause them stress, psychological damage, near-death experiences, bad omens and bad karma. Well, sucks to be them, I guess. It seems like that this Zozo character is one sadistic demonio who loves to put a good fright into his victims and makes them his slaves otherwise he'll just scare them forever and ever.
Trivia[]
- The board is actually owned by Hasbro, the same goddam company that made MLP: Friendship ist Magic. Well crap, how is that for a scary board?
- The board can actually be bought in most toy shops and for children from age 3 onwards. How is this supposedly demonic board such a threat again?
- The Archdemon Satanachia is rumoured to have powers over the board as well.
- According to one redditor, the board can apparently summon Lord Beelzebub as well. After his summoning, the next morning, the redditor in question and her friends, found flies flying all over the place and they got so scared that they left the house. However, sceptics assume that the girls just didn't clean up the garbage in their house, as they probably left half-eaten fruits and other types of food laying all around, attracting some flies.
