Osvaldo Luigi "Oscar" Altobello was a member of the Tattaglia Family of France City and an old friend of Don Samuele Tattaglia and one of the lawyers of Tattaglia Family.

Altobello was from the town of Montelepre, Sicily, but immigrated to France in 1988 after serving in the Italian Army. Altobello arrived in Crazy Town and became friends with Samuele Tattaglia and was an ally with the Tattaglias during the Pacification of France. Altobello became the Lawyer following the murder of Freddie Nobile in 2011 and was presented at The Commission meeting in 2013 at the Fortunato's Cave. Altobello never had an understanding of Michael Corleone, leader of the rival Corleone Family, and planned on assassinating him in March but failed due to his assassin being killed by Al Neri. However, Altobello respected the thinking of their Don, Rico Tattaglia and the two later planned on destroying the Corleone family with help of the Barzini Family, O'Neille Family and the police force in Tattaglia-Altobello Conspiracy.
Ambush and Death[]
In June 18, 2013, Corleones, Meyer Cobblepot and Giuseppe Travonni along with many of their men drove in a yacht to a "peace meeting" between O'Neilles, Barzinis and Tattaglias on a deserted island. But the NYPD who were on Tattaglia's payroll prepared to attack the Corleones and their allies as soon as they start shaking hands with Don Tattaglia. As the allies stepped on the island Paul Fortunato crashed the deal, killing half of Corleone, Cobblepot and Travonni men, but Al Neri, who was nearby, shot Fortunato in the chest and injured him with a handgun. O'Neille boys stole the yacht and the Tattaglias jumped on it and were about to escape. After a lengthy firefight between Barzinis and police against the Corleones and their allies, they all got on the boat and fled when they killed most of Corleone mobsters and Tattaglias/O'Neilles were ready to start the motor. The villains drove away to O'Neille's new turf: New Jersey. Cobblepot was also shot but survived during this battle, along with some of his men. However, the Tattaglias Rico and Altobello were killed by a shot to the head with a Sniper Recon Rifle .360 by Al Neri while they were on the boat.
Personality and traits[]
Even though Oscar Altobello appeared to be a befuddled old man with a cane, in reality he was a Machiavellian schemer who was much more lucid and aware than he gave on. He wasn't a very clever and was a non-talented son of a biatch. The reason he is called son of a bitch is because he was only friendly to the Tattaglias and other villains, and to nobody else, the player may also see that from his top quote.
