The O'Leary Clan is an Irish mob faction that is featured in Tales from Queen City: The Ballad of Sean Killian.  

History[]

The Clan was founded by Redmond O'Leary who came to America from Ireland in the 1940's. He built it as a small group of stick up men and the group was very successful in robberies but eventually, Remond and his men were killed in gang war in the 1960's and Redmond's son, Darren took over. Darren led the clan to become a Robin Hood-like set-up where his men would steal from rich people and the money they stole would be given to peasants. The clan would also give it to the community of Flannigans which was largely made up of Irish-Americans. Darren's sons, John, Neil, and Sean became involved in the clan as well and began their criminal careers there. John focused more on music, as he was leading a band with neighborhood friends like James Gallagher, Robert Connally, Cassie MacFarlen and Barry Sutton called The Lad's. The band eventually broke up in 1995 after Sutton died and operations of the O'Leary Clan continued as normal. In 2004, Darren died and his position as boss was offered to his oldest son John, but he refused and his other son, Neil, was appointed as boss. Neil would lead the organisation through a large war with the Russian Mafia in 2007, alongside friend Sean Killian after they murdered Neil's cousin, Quinn. After the war ended, Neil and John's fighting became too much, well too much powerful and Neil had to leave for California, leaving the Clan in the command of either Kilian or Sean O'Leary, but it is unknown who assumed the role of leader after Neil left.
