— Nigel Dickens at Ridgewood's

Nigel W. Dickens is a major "hero" character featured in Red Dead Garlic bread part I, III and IV.

Through Liars and Cheats he can become playable in multiplayer under the "Liars" section, although he is a lil' bit of both. (A little bit of country, a rittle rock n' roll!)

Info[]

Nigel is a travelling salesman and a charlatan who has swindled many on his tours throughout America. He was born in East Cheap, London in UK, but found the "American lifestyle" much more to his liking and left for US. There he met Professor Perry, who taught him on how to make effective snake and mushroom Oil, either to sell it around for profiting and killing the unfortunate buyer or throw it around to harm your victim. Nigel did both.

Once he also met one of Perry's clowns, the dwarf Fidgit, but honestly he was rather freaked out when he saw him. Indeed, Dickens had many encounters with Perry's Circus until he parted ways and left for Texas while Perry and his freaks stayed in Mississippi for the time being.

Nigel was also almost lynched numerous times when folk found out about his lias and scams.

Interactions[]

'Murican West[]

John Marston first meets Nigel lying on the ground all injured besides his coach when he was robbed and left for dead by Irish's Gang. He somehow manages to convince Johnny to drive him to Silver Town to the doc's where he will heal.

After Nigel is healed, he decides that he'll use Marston as nothing more than his pawn and a stepping stone for his business despite just saving his life. Nigel first uses Marston as his ace during one of his tours of the Ridgewood Farm where he successfully convinces everyone there to buy his fake candies, including Aqua all thanks to Marston.

Marston however, soon begins to see through Tricky Dik and demands a favour in return for lying and cheating for him, that is getting some help in destroying the Williamson Gang. Dickens reluctantly agrees, but Johnny is still his puppet and a whipping boy, having to race all around the Gaptooth Ride with horses and carts just to win Dickens some more money.

Oh, I also must add that once Marston and Dickens tried to rob the good folk of Plainview, some Ridgewooders came along and exposed Dickens and his salty candy, so the two had to flee.

After getting the said money from racing, Dickens told Marston to go see another robber by the name of Scot. He will have that which Johnny needs. Oh and Nigel also sended Marston to meet up with Seth Brains as well.

Nigel is next seen helping Johnny and his crew attack the Fort Mercer where N. Dickens cowers.

After being forced into Mexico, Marston parts ways with Dickens while the Scot offers a free ride to Mehiko.

The Brand New Life[]

After coming back to West Virginia, Mountain mama! John runs into Dickens once again in Gold Town where he is about to get arrested for his crimes of selling fake stuff and drugs. However, John requested Edgar Rose to let Dick go free since he helped him with Williamson back in Texas. With that, Nigel walks out of the police station a free man.

Undead Nightmare[]

In Undead Nightmare, Dickens is back in his profession of selling broken goods to the good folk of the West and his current destination is in Fort Mercer. This time however, Marston ruins his wicked plan by telling him to sell all the bottles of medicine for free to the people, much to Dicken's dismay.

The next time they meet, Dickens is getting attacked by a fat ass zombie and Marston has to save him.

Finally, Dickens tells Marston that he needs to be the hero of the day and go down to Mexico where the plague came from so he suggests Marston helps the American Army out at the Scratching Post and as a reward they'll give him their uniform so Marston can sneak onto the Army train send to travel to Mexico. Marston does as he's instructed and Dickens rewards him with a blunderbuss, but John is angry at the weapon, saying it's long outdated but Nigel just packs his bags and sits on his coach to leave.
