Nicky Corleone is a distant relative of Vito Corleone and the owner of the Albassador Grill in The Godfather Game.
He was a former spy for his cousin's crime organisation before he decided to serve the DeVazzi Family when they started taking over France to save his own hide.
Biography[]
Nicky was born in Texas and his childhood is mostly unknown, but it is known that he visited his cousin Vito Corleone in New York soon after he reached adulthood and they moved to France years after Vito's establishment. Helped by his cousin, Nicky set himself a house up in Old Town and built a famous restaurant called the Albassador Grill. He always had a knowing smile for the Corleone family and particularly Charlie Trapani, who was very skilled with a Tommy Gun and loved his meringues.
Nicky can be seen in the mission given by Pete Clemenza, "The Death of the Traitor", where he will have short conversation with Elliot Davy-Crockett in his restaurant. The player can also talk to Nicky about Poli Gatto, whom Nicky always suspected to be up to no good. During the Five Families Mob War, Nicky was trapped in the old circus shop called Stromboli along with its owner, Joel Stromboli by the Stracci Family after a daring attack by Bobby Toro's men on Joel's establishment. Nicky talked his way out of death and escaped by telling Straccis a lie, where supposedly a few Corleones were hiding in Mid Town and was freed. His friend Joel was not so lucky and was killed by Toro.
After Corleone's decline in France and DeVazzi Family's takeover, Nicky obliged and shared his allegiances to Don Carmine DeVazzi himself, caring not for his fallen blood and crime family members. This caused Nicky's arrogance to rise up a bit and he became an even greedier and fatter pig than he was. He is also a close friend of one of his top costumers who is also close with the DeVacis, Viktor Stauffenberg.
Trivia[]
- If attacked, he cowers rather than fights back, unless you turn your back on him.
- For example, if the player punches Nicky and then turns around afterwards for a few, Nicky will grab a bottle or a chair to hit the player from behind and kick him around while he's down.
- He is one of the fattest characters in The Godfather Game, along with Pete Clemenza and Elvis Smoth.
