Set in 1978, former LAPD Detective Ray Buttowski has moved to New York City to escape justice for he is in a deep doo-doo due to his corruption in Los Angeles. Buttowski has been getting threatening Emails from

Elsa Lichtmann, Cole Phelps' gf who knew about his corruption and relation to Lenard Monroe and his fund. But Ray's corruption didn't stop there, he was even in the pockets of Cohen's Gang and Marina Family. Luckily, no one would suspect of that in NY. Ray joins the NYPD on the suggestion of his former LAPD corrupt detective Vernon Mapes and attempts to make something of a big shot of himself and enjoys being in a company and department surrounded by corrupt cops, detectives, agents and sinister politicians. Jack Kelso who has also been sent to NY argues with Buttowski over their police views and Ray's vices, but he still provides assistance to Buttowski as the two try to uncover the true extent of the New York murder rate. Herschel Binggs serves as a backlash character and a rival to Ray. A major theme of the game will be Ray taking even more and more bribes from numerous criminals, criminal organisations, corrupt businessmen, politicians, etc. So the game is played the way you want it but you are literally forced to be the 'bad cop', because das fun. The game will feature a rocking 1990's to 2010's soundtrack and bands such as Behemoth, Anti-Flag, HELL, Emperor Morgan, Blink 1488 and many others will always be blasting from all the radio stationes.
Playable Characters[]
Ray Buttowski is the main hero of our story. However, like in the first LA Noire, Jack Kelso will be playable in several missions as the game shifts focus to show his side of the story and how he is coping with Cole Phelps' death, unlike Ray who enjoys it and loves to taunt Jacky with it. Herschel Binggs will not be playable but will be shown in cameos in flashbacks, along Dr. Harlan Fontaine, Lenard Monroe, Mr. Nasty and the new Don of Marina Family, Raul Marina II.

Like the first L.A Noire, NY Noire will follow Buttowski as he makes his way through the department one desk at a time. The desks will include Homicide, Arson, Burglary, Bunco/Fraud, Poppycock, Vice, and some others.
