Mushroom Oil is a very sour medical elixir that is sold with spurious claims. It can be found in both Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition and Red Dead Redemption, with different purposes.
Revolver[]
Mushroom Oil is a throwing weapon found in Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition, that breaks upon impact to damage and temporarily stun enemies.
Characteristics[]
When used, mushroom oil temporarily renders enemies unable to shoot as they will be attempting to get liquid off themselves. After they begin to move again, their movements will be slowed down for a brief period.
Basset uses Mushroom Oil as a weapon during his fight against Leg Johnson, taking a swig from the bottle and then spit it back out at the player. Wade will heal himself several times over the course of the fight by drinking Mushroom Oil. Puking Mushroom Oil is also his special move in Showdown Mode. Citizens refer to Wade as a "charlatan mushrooom oil miner."
Brumas The Bear attacks Nastas with Mushroom Oil during the mission "Bear Mountains" if he gets close enough to melee attack.
Acquisition[]
It can first be obtained during the mission "Jail Escape" by interacting with a skeleton that is inside the cage where the mission begins. It costs $400 for a quantity of six and only six can be purchased at a time.
Red Dead Redemption[]
Mushroom Oil is a consumable item found in Red Dead Redemption.
Acquisition[]
Mushroom Oil can be picked up from looted corpses, found in chests, or bought from most general stores.
