"When I was a little boy and I was scared of the boogeyman on the news, my mom would comfort me and say: "Look out for the helpers instead, son. You will always find people out there who are helping." With these words, I knew that good still exists and that it always will and will be there to help out the world. Whether in form of people, animals, nature, etc. Always for good, never for evil."
— Rogers remembering his childhood and his mum's wise words

Mr. Rogers (March 20, 1928-February 27, 2003) was a European-American Presbyterian minister, writer, musician, television personality, and puppeteer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His parents were also from Pennsylvania, with his dad being born to a German father and British mother and his mom, Nancy, being born to Scottish parents. His mum had a large influence over his life in his youth. He was very well-known for being on Mr. Rogers' Neighbourhood show, which he created and named after himself, as well as being a very nice guy towards men, women, children, animals, poor people, and people with disabilities alike, which was actually quite uncommon in his times. He never used profanity (but he did use middle fingers, though), smoked, nor drank any alcoholic beverages, and was also a vegan. Again, he stood out for his times and was seen as something of an oddball, even if in a good way.

Similarly to Sammy the Squirrel, Mr. Rogers is one of the best examples of a pure-hearten hero to the point where everyone holds him in awe and respect, and insulting him or mocking him is seen as an unforgivable offence on this Wiki. Also, just because his show was on PBS, he is NOT to be associated with the channel's liberalism and fake news! You betcha! He had NOTHING to do with their political agenda! NUFFIN! All he did was have a show on their channel! And besides, his show aired on that channel before they even became as liberal as they currently are anyway. Also, despite being a christian minister, he was surprisingly good and not a jerk who was only about the money.

Mr. Rogers also secretly worked with the FBI, the DEA and the ATF. He hated drugs, alcohol, tobacco, gambling and prostitution, probably out of religious beliefs. When it came to those things, he was a bit more BA than most would expect. Kids, preteens and teens being addicted to drugs, alcohol and tobacco was something he reviled to no end. However, he opted to instead help those trouble youths instead of belittling them and calling them "lost causes" or "junkie deadbeats". As a matter of fact, Mr. Rogers could've very well been a codename that the FBI gave to Fred. It may be hard to believe but the dude went all Alejandro Gillick on the Mexican and other Latin American cartels. However, he was never in conflict with the Marina Family of Colombian crime scene in NY.

Trivia[]

  • I once mistook him with the guy who made Peanuts, but that guy was named Schultz. Nevertheless, the two are rather similar, generally speaking.
  • Protestantism in general is better than craptholicism to me, personally, even if for one ounce of spit.
