Michael De Santa is one of the three playable characters in the video game, then he was a protagonist of Grand Theft Auto V alongside Trevor Phillips and Franklin Clinton. He was born 1963 in North Dakota as Michael Townley. His wife is named Amanda De Santa and he also has a son named Jimmy De Santa and a daughter named Tracey De Santa. He met Lester Crest, Trevor, Brad Snider, and the getaway driver from the prologue in 1981. Michael, Trevor, Lester, Brad, and the getaway driver can also be briefly seen in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which takes place in 1986. Brad and the getaway driver both died in 2004. Michael and Trevor didn't see each other again until 2013. In 2004, Michael moved to Los Santos. Michael first met Franklin in 2013, before he saw Trevor again. In ending B, he will die by falling. In ending C, he will team up with Franklin and Trevor to take out Devin Weston, Steve Haines, Wei Cheng, and Stretch. In ending A, he will team up with Franklin in order to take out Trevor.
