— Meaty during liar's dice game

Meaty McSwain is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption, part I American West.

Info[]

Not much is known of Meaty's info, only that he loves to play liar's dice and works as a butcher at Thief's Town, hence his nickname. However, Meaty's real name is Wile.

Interactions[]

Meaty can most often be found in Thief's Town, at his butcher market or loitering and drinking in the saloon or the hotel. He can also be found in the cantina at Casa Madrugada or Escalera. In both locations he is usually playing liar's dice. However, he has been known to frequent El Matadero and Agave Viejo, where he often arm wrestles. He can also occasionally be found at Plainview, but he is normally just loitering or arm wrestling. McSwain can also be encountered in a "damsel in distress" encounter in which he is trying to kill a prostitute. The player may interact by killing or disarming Meaty or he could just watch as he stabs the woman to death, satisfyingly.

Death[]

Meaty died on his deathbed on 31 March, 1898 of cholera in El Matadero, Mexico.

Trivia[]

  • Meaty is mostly armed with a Reptile Rifle when attacked.
  • This character does not appear in Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition.
  • For some reason, he likes to travel around a lot, being seen in southern US states and northern parts of Mehiko.
