MacGruder is a minor character in the American Crime Tales series who appears as a convict in The American Dream . He is voiced by Darren Chevney.

MacGruder was arrested for manslaughter in December 2002 and was being transported from Evergreen City Jail to Blackwoods Federal Prison when a prisoner named Sutton attempted to escape the bus but his plan failed and both he and the bus driver were killed before the bus crashed. Following the crash, MacGruder managed to help McCreary escape but was shot dead by Axel a prison guard with a shotgun, allowing McCreary to escape.
