Made up Characters Wiki

This is a list of authors whose books were blacklisted in Nazi Germany, either under Adolf Hitla' or Olaf Tutchenko. Copies of books by the following authors were often burned or otherwise destroyed by the Nazi Ultranationalists before and during World War II. There was also this famous high school or college participation where students gathered around to burn books at a bonfire. If you asked Adolf, the authors were usually either Jewish, liberal, American, lesbian/gay/bisexual, disabled/special needs, or simply had views that disagreed with the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (often abbreviated as the NSDAP). In Olaf's case and there really wasn't a big case with him, believe it or not, the burnt books were usually religious texts, conservative and liberal books, and of course, books written by foreign, non-human writers that were imported to Earth. Usually via portals.

In the opinion of KGBSpetsnaz, the above list is largely an honorary one (with the exceptions of Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Dr. Seuss and to a certain degree Thomas Hobbes and Jean-Jacques Rousseau) because who needs those good-for-nothing totalitarian fascists’ stamp of approval anyway? However, the difference is that Marx and Engels technically never killed anyone, while fascists did.

Books that were actually permitted in Nazi Germany included Adolf Hitler’s own book entitled Mein Kampf as well as a book of anonymous authorship called Protocols of the Elders of Zion. However, that book was actually based upon a book criticising Napoleon Bonaparte of planning world domination, but Napoleon and his inner circle were replaced with Jewish characters or institutions. Works by Daniel Defoe, Miguel de Cervantes, Jonathan Swift and William Shakespeare were also permitted. Weird, huh? Hitler also loved Walt Disney (who was his fellow antisemite and homophobe) but blacklisted countless other film producers, actors and actresses of Hollywood.

Olaf[]

  • Olaf was a bit different from Hitler, and saw aliens as the ultimate threat, so here was his version:
  • Anything relating to Outworld, came from Outworld or was written by a non-human alien, even if from any other planet than Outworld that he saw as a threat to Earth, including Orinion, Chaosworld, Duro, Dac or Boolos. However, honestly, very few books or literature works were imported to Earth from those places back then.
