This giant palace is the home to Emperor Kotal Kahn located in Outworld and it is protected by over 9000 foot soldiers, swordsmen, and other defensive forces. It first appeared in Mortal Kombat X.

Kotal Kahn's castle is one of Outworld's most biggest and richest buildings, being twice as bigger as Shao Kahn's Castle. Built by Kotal himself in the early 1800s, the Palace's role has been as a fortress, prison and home.

One of the main rooms has Crown Jewels collection owned by Kotal Kahn himself, as he likes jewelry. There are 23,578 gems in the collection including one of the world's most famous diamonds, the Koh-i-Noor. They are mostly viewed and weared by Miss Rarity whenever Kotal allows her to.

Many people lost their heads in the Castle and the prisoners exhibition looks at some of the Castles most infamous inmates, including Mokap, Shujinko, and Wu-Fong. The Castle's history ass a prison continued during the two Outworld civil wars and still held fatalities.

There is so much to see at the Castle including the "Outworld Creeper" held and frozen in a block of ice in the attic, torture room, and Kotal's bedroom.

Other species were given as royal gifts and animals and were kept at the Royal Menagerie for the entertainment and curiosity of the court. Everything from demons to small dragons, onis, tarkatans, and Seidans and even eneneras lived in what was known as the Royal Menagerie.
