The Koloff Family is a Russian organised crime syndicate. They are known for distributing steroids, of which they used on their enforcer, Ivan Drago for boxing, wrestling, and cage fighting purposes. Illegal activities they are known for include bid rigging, drug dealing, gun running, money laundering, contract killing, heists, and bribery. Ludmilla Drago is the underboss and Drago's wife.
History[]
Seeing Ivan Drago’s brute strength, the Soviet government gave him the opportunity to represent them overseas in the United States of America. His wife accompanied him as did his trainers and manager. Both of his trainers and his manager lied to both the governments of the Soviet Union and the USA that they were legitimate trainers rather than mobsters. Their plan worked and as they were in the USA, their businesses were even more prosperous than they were in the old country. Apollo Creed was killed by Ivan Drago in a boxing match and it was used as a common front for their crime syndicate in which Ivan Drago remained undefeated until Rocky Balboa finally defeated him in 1985.
