King Leon the Conqueror (real name: Leonard Eilhard Otto Fredrick Leichberger), was a German king who ruled Germany for many years, until his eventual death at the hands of Brave Simon. He would later be resurrected in John J. Barrel's backstory during World War II, only to be killed by him.
Info[]
Leon was the eldest son of King Karl of East Francia (modern day Germany), whom he succeeded when Karl was poisoned by one of his closest advisers (in reality, he was poisoned by his wife, who wanted Leon to take the throne already). When Leon became the king, he earned himself the nickname of Conqueror, as he was an evil warlord who launched a campaign of conquest all over Germany and succeeded in ruling it. He also ruled the Magyar kingdom and tribes (present day Hungary) when his forces set their eyes upon it. He was known for his cruelty and sadism, as his torture methods included skinning people alive, boiling them in large cauldrons, trapping rat cages over their heads and forcing them to swallow rocks down their throats, so their digestive system would be poisoned and they would die a struggling death. To add an... injury to the injury, they would barely be able to walk their heavy ss around with all those rocks in their stomach.
During a winter storm on December 17, 1173 BH, a fur-dressed knight from Britannia (modern day England) by the name Brave Simon confronted Leon on his castle's grounds in Francia, seeking to end his reign of terror. Simon's men attacked Leon's men, including his closest ally, Duke Dundrek, and managed to kill them all. However, they succeeded at a great cost, as only two of Simon's men survived: Clemens and Cornelious. After a brief battle between Simon and Leon, the British knight realised that Leon was to powerful for him and he ended up on the ground, wounded. Before Leon could kill him, the remaining two of his men charged him and managed to push him down. This was the perfect opportunity for Simon to get up and take his chance, as he walked with his sword towards the down-pushed Leon. Simon used his sword to cut Leon's leg off and then managed to kick him off the nearby cliff, where Leon fell into the icy cold river and froze to death. Clemens and Cornelious applauded Simon.
Resurrection[]
Centuries later, King Leon the Conqueror was resurrected as a giant zombie by Wilhelm Hillmor's SS who dealt with paranormal and the occult on the grounds of his old (now abandoned and ruined) castle. Leon's zombified body improved his height. Leon thanked Hillmor and his men, and Hillmor left to attend a meeting in Vienna with Olaf Tutchenko, leaving his men to help Leon in taking down the rival American Army squadron who invaded the castle, lead by John J. Barrel. Unfortunately for the Americans, Leon was too powerful for them to stand a chance and he obliterated Barrel's men while he was in the shootout with the SS troops. Seeing that they were the last two standing, Leon confronted Johnny to a duel.
Second Defeat[]
After a fierce fight, Leon the Conqueror was ultimately destroyed by Barrel when John managed to find an old spear on a ruined suit of armour of a knight and jabbed it into Leon's stomach, making him fall to his knees in pain. As Leon taunted Barrel, wounded, Barrel used Leon's own sword to cut his head off and throw it down a witching well where it pummelled to dust, while Leon's body turned to ash and his soul returned back to the Netherworld. Barrel basically saved the world from being conquered by one Leon the Warlord, much to Hillmor's dismay and disappointment.
After Leon the Conqueror's return to Hell, he began plotting a second return to Earth and continue his reign of terror over Germany and maybe even other parts of Europe. Fact is that he has hellhounds and other monstrosities working for him in Hell and as long as there's Chernobog on his back, he can never die!
Trivia[]
- Leon is based upon Heinrich I (English name: Henry the Fowler), a real German warlord who ruled Francia. However, unlike Leon, Henry had no connections to the Nazi Ultranationalists and he was a Christian duke, not a Pagan, nor was he a king.
- His fashion appearance was unusual for the royalty of that time, such as not wearing a crown and wearing clothes more akin to an undertaker than a noble.
- Wilhelm Hillmor resurrected Leon with the help of ancient grimoires, Ouija board studying, Aleister Crowley's books and mixing of some herbs while his SS all wore druid robes and chanted Leon's name and nickname. The reason for his resurrection was because Wilhelm believed Leon the Conqueror's success of conquering Germany was similar to their own goals of conquering Europe.
- Fittingly, Leon was defeated by a member of the occultist Barrel Family, who served in the American Army, Nazi's rivals in World War II.
- He is another character to have their title in their name (and even their nickname), similarly to King Baalak, King Baal, High King Jamie, Lord Asmodeus and Lord Farquaad.
- Contrary to what one may think, he had no beef or connections to King Redbad, who existed before him.
- The lyrics from his theme song were quote by Victor Zsasz sometimes. Nevertheless, Zsasz will never be as edgy as Leon was.

Theme song[]
His theme song is the one where he personally appeared in and sang it as it fits him af. Not to mention that Leon probably had any witch who slightly disagreed with him burnt, like the christians did, but for other reasons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqQuihD0hoI
