Katherine "Katie" O'Grady is a minor hero character featured in Red Dead Revolver.
Info[]
Nothing is known of Katie, other than that she is the daughter of Paul O'Grady and that she used her charms more than once to save the life of his father from the Ugly Gang.
Interactions[]
After Red Harlow wipes out the entire Ugly Gang and her father is wounded, Katie pleads Red to set out and take her father to the doctor's in Brimstone. With Red accepting the request, Katie sends a telegraph to the doctor to tell them of Paul's arrival.
Katie appears one chapter later, bound and hogtied under the water tower in Widow's Palace by Perry's Circus. Jack Swift, a rival of Perry, decided to save and protect her from Perry's boys. After killing most of Perry's henchmen plus Perry himself, Jacky untied Katie but expressed only interest in cash instead of her life. Katie, angrily then tells him about a duelling contest taking place in Brimstone and that Jack is probably talented enough to win it all.
Katie somehow (it is possible she had a vacation there) later appears captured in The Diablo Mine in Mexico, where Red must open her cell to obtain a precious key to escape the mines. After freeing Katie along the way, she gave Red a kiss.

- — O'Grady's last wordsWhile Red might have the chance to escape Javier Diego's mines, Katie was not so lucky. Just as she was rescued and stepped out of her jail room, she was shot in the head by one of Diego's miners, making her escape pointless. Hell, it is possible she would have lived longer if she stayed captured in Diego's jail cell, as no one knows for how long the Mexican Army planned on having her captured there. Then again, they could kill her as well, even in her cell.

Showdown[]
O'Grady is unlocked as a playable character in Showdown after the player purchases a wristband from a dead skeleton at the beginning of the chapter "The Jail". It is baffling why Red Harlow wasted his precious money on buying it at all, for he could just steal it since the "person" having it was just a dead skeleton. Perhaps he got afraid of the curse of the Spooky Boi. Anyway, Katie's special ability is to light her Zwei Fasser bullets on fire, killing the opponent in a second if he is shot with it. She is a much more useful character than her disgrace of a dad, Paul O'Grady. In fact she is surprisingly very useful in Showdown, as opposite to the story where she plays a damsel in distress.
Journal Entry[]
Katie remained at her father's side in their house, feeling pretty unprotected since he was too useless to do anything about the Ugly Gang running his town. If she had been more cunning she could've had persuaded her old man to stand up to Chris and his boys once and for all. However, only god can guess how that would've turned out.

- She kind of looks similar to Sadie Adler, albeit she looks older.
- In Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition her role is replaced with Laura Fortuna.
- She has an unnamed child, but they are never seen in the game.
