Jones Bamswigye is a minor character featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City's Serbian (BC).
Info[]
Jones is a citizen of Riverside and he came there sometime around 1990's from Jamaica. Sometime in his past, he was a drug dealer and presumably a gangster of a Jamaican mafia, however, he left the mafia due to the fear of certain death at the hands of the mafia's enemies.
According to him, and some other people, his wife is a greedy bully who only uses people and hates everyone. Milko Kunčevič was the one who brought Jones home to marry Nataša only for her father's will. They have one son, Mihael.
Interactions[]
Jones is the resident of The Riverside Bar motel. He is typically found playing poker in the said saloon, and occasionally can be found playing pool with Lenny and Franz, implying he rather a gambler. He can also be seen visiting The Riverside Market, buying some fruits and other merchandise there. He drives a Mojave, bough to him by Milko Kunčevič, father of his wife, Nataša Kunčevič.
Trivia[]
- Nataša's father, Milko Kunčevič apparently met Jones in a store, and seeing Jones' loyal and good high nature, he quickly convinced him into marrying Nataša, as he preferred Jones way more over Borut Šaket, the man Nataša originally wanted to marry.
- Jones appears to be interested in the left-wing political spectrum, as shown by his never-ending praise of communism, Shao Kahn and Mikhail Chachovich. He can also be heard saying to his fellow poker or pool players that he wants "Jamaica to rise", but in a different way, he wants Rastafarians to take over America after a presumed third world war he predicted (due to being high on weed) and destroy all other religions around the world, expect Zionism and Judaism (due to the Rastafaria belief in Zion). The question is where does this leave his wife and the people he holds dear if this happens.
- Despite being a Democrat, Jones claims he likes Jackson Borlinghathen and his beliefs, ironically to his philosophy, Jackson is a supporter of fascism. But more likely, Jones might like Jackson the most due to his Rastafari religion.
- Jones is based off a person the creator has met in real life.
