Johnathan Dixmor worked as an attendant at the Jones Beach Causeway back on Earth and as security guard in Orinion's Fabletown Woodland hotel until his promotion to the head of security.

After having worked in a menial position for many years, he was paid cash to assist in the murder of Sonny Corleone by dropping his change. However, as the Tattaglias had previously mentioned escaping to the Tunnel Club, they were forced to hole him up in the Holden Factory following the hit, pursued by a furious Charlie Trapani.
Trapani shot down the hitmen, and interrogated Johnathan to discover what he knew. He was also kinda shocked when he founded out Johnathan was a Dixmor, and kept wondering what a member of a rich dynasty as Dixmor would be doing working as a poor security guard.
To avoid being questioned about his decisions and family by everyone wherever he went, he changed his name to "Grimble" when he came to Orinion. Despite this, no one on Orinion doesn't even know much the Dixmors.
Working in Fabletown[]
Johnathan is first seen when Bigby Wolf returns from the incident at Toad's apartment. He is napping at his security desk in the Woodland hotel as Bigby waits for the elevator. Later that night, Faith's decapitated head is found outside of the building by Snow White, who covers it up with Johnathan's jacket as he continues to sleep.
John is also briefly seen napping at the security desk as Bigby and Snow walk up from the basement after questioning Tweedledee.

- Along with a few other Dixmors, Johnny doesn't appear to have a page in Giuseppe Travonni's Journal.
- Dixmor is drawn ugly in the comics.
