Johnathan "John" Randy-Newman is a central character in World of War: Revenge. He was the President of the U.S.A in 8 AH. When the game starts, a cutscene comes into action and he is assassinated in his black Street Limousine by the Chinese President himself, Adam Bell. He dies on May 5, while he was in Washington, D.C. with his wife and daughter in the backseat. The game is named after him, as after he dies, you get on a revenge mission on "the man" who killed him, and subsequently, the entire China. He was succeeded as president by Barack Obama, who was elected on 8 AH, winning against John McCain. He was a good friend of the former President, the Republican Lucas Borlinghathen, although he was unaware that Borlinghathen worked for the Project, an organisation Newman planned to expose.
