Joe "Joey" Galtasino was a corrupt police sergeant from Little Town, France City. He was some sorta right-hand-man of Mark McCluskey and is a major villain in The Godfather Game.
Biography[]
Known by the Corleone Family as a corrupt drunk, Galtasino was known to take orders from Mark McCluskey, and he had a place with him on Tattaglia Family's payroll. He demanded a bribe from Charlie Trapani when the future Spy took over Emilio's Butcher Shop, which had formerly been run by Tattaglias.
He later stopped and nearly punched Trapani at the hospital where Vito Corleone and Marty Malone were being treated at due to him and Mikey involving themselves in the FCPD business, but was stopped by Tom Hagen's arrival and ended up being forced to leave, threatening Trapani with the promise of future repercussions.
Death[]
Galtasino later crashed Rosa Morelli's party at Rosa's, after being alerted to the existence of the party by Poli Gatto, a mole in the Corleone family. Galtasino responded violently, attacking Trapani, ordering his men to restraint Monk before taking Rosa in for "questioning". She managed to resist him, and Trapani threw the drunken power-hungry Sergeant from the roof of American Imports Inc. as the clock struck midnight for New Years Eve 10 AH. Rosa helped Trapani by giving him a bottle of alcohol to drop near Galtasino's head, making the situation appear to be nothing other than a drunken accident where Galtasino fell off the roof.
