James Alberto "Jimmy" Pegorini is a supporting character in the American Crime Tales series who appears in Queen City Underground and also in Tales from Queen City: The Ballad of Sean Killian. He is voiced by Jimmy DeVola in both games and has a personality akin to Rocky Balboa.
Biography[]
Pegorini was born on 23rd of September, 1965/45 BH, in the town of Limeshore, in the state of New Porter, to an Italian-American family of 5 siblings. At some point between 1987 and 2001/1 AH, he joined up with the Gambinuchi Crime Family in New Porter's biggest city, Queen City, taking on the role as a soldier and becoming the personal bodyguard and driver for a fellow soldier, Mario Montinelli, who worked underneath the capo Guido Vittanese, at their club called The Guido.
Events of Queen City Underground[]
In 2001/1 AH, Jimmy is working at The Guido where Aiden McCreary, the protagonist and a pupil of Jimmy gets into a fight with several patrons. Jimmy restrains Aiden and takes him to Mario and Guido's office where Aiden will have to suck Guido's dik, while Jimmy is excused from the room and is not seen until later in the game, when he is seen driving the limo with Mario, Guido and Aiden on the way to Ricardo Gambinuchi's manor. Following this scene he is not seen again, until the final scene where he is seen celebrating at the Gambinuchi household following the family's victory in the war with the Alfred Family.
Events of Tales from Queen City: The Ballad of Sean Killian[]
In 2007/7 AH, Pegorini is seen during a scene in The Ballad of Sean Killian at the Guido, when two men from the Furino Crime Family entered the club with guns in their hands and began shooting at Mario, hitting him several times in the legs and severely wounding him. Jimmy is last seen after one of the Furino men leaves the club after being slightly wounded by him in the stomach, while his colleague was shot dead in the forehead and neck by Mario, trying to help him with his wounds as he bleed out. It is presumed Jimmy went to the hospital with Mario after he was shot. He is not seen again. It is presumed if Mario survived he stayed working for him, but he may have been promoted to a capo if Mario died from his wounds. What happened in reality is a mystery, but it is very possible Pegorini died from his wounds, as his little brother can be found crying later in the game before the Pegorini house, saying he didn't deserve what he got.
