Fernando Javier Felipe Sanchez was a Mexican mobster who was the Underboss of the Marina Family, a drug cartel and crime family that was created by the Colombian Raul Marina in the United States of America in 1969/31 BH. In 1977/23 BH, Javier was burned after a bomb at the meeting room at Cody's Hotel exploded.
Biography[]
Javier was from Las Hermanas, but never agreed to live by the harsh and strict religious rules that plagued the place and instead made money through drug dealing, and participated in the construction of community centres and deconstruction in rival community centres. He married a prostitute named Betty Burromuerto and had one son, the future Acting Don of Tattaglia Family, Alejandro Burromuerto, who was for some reason surnamed after his mother. Who knows what that was all about. Javier arrived in New York in 1967/33 BH, and was arrested in November for the murder of five people with a Magnum in a house of a rival drug dealer, and was known to be the "bad guy" in US. Sanchez led a legal battle from prison against extradition, and he lost, but never attended court in the jail of Kingston in 1968. It was in that jail that he befriended several prisoners who were made members of the Marina Family.
After Javier got out of jail, he quickly rose through the ranks of the Marinas, eventually becoming the Underboss in 1974/26 BH when the old one got killed by some of Falcone Family men.
Death[]
During a family meeting in 23 BH at Cody's Hotel, Javier was killed along with many other Marina mobsters by a bomb that was put under the table by two Falcone Family gangsters; Vito Corleone and Joe Clemenza. One of the few survivors were the two Marina Brothers themselves.
