Jane O'Leary is a major character in the American Crime Tales series who serves as a major character in Tales from Queen City: The Ballad of Sean Killian where she is the eventual love interest of protagonist, Sean Killian . She is voiced by Bella Byrne.
Background[]
Jane O'Leary was born in 1980 to Darren and Sheila O'Leary . She was the final child the couple had as well as their only daughter, with her having several older brothers, John , Neil , Frank , Sean , and Patrick . As a child she was extremely close with her brother, Patrick as the two were only 11 months apart in age and they would often stick together, with Jane eventually becoming her brother's therapist as they got older due to Patrick's emotional problems he had when he was younger. Jane was always willing to defend Patrick who was a very sensative kid from bullys and threats. Jane and Patrick would often hide when their brothers got into fights, mainly Neil and Frank who would fight constantly. Jane and Patrick were influenced by their brother, John who introduced them to many new things, as teenagers, Jane and Patrick through John became exposed to many new things that they grew to love such as punk music, concerts, marijuana (which helped Patrick's emotional issues), and other things such as those. Jane began a job at a local theater, never really becoming involved in the life of crime that her brothers (except Frank and Patrick) became involved in, choosing instead to work a decent job. Jane did however carry an illegal firearm with her as she was given it by her brother Neil as a birthday present. In 2006 she shot and killed a man who attempted to rape her and her brothers desposed of the body. By 2007, Jane was living in her parents house with her brothers when they heard the news their cousin, Quinn had been murdered.
Events of Tales from Queen City: The Ballad of Sean Killian[]
In 2007, Jane is first seen when she is attending the funeral of Quinn, it is here through family friend, John Callahan that she meets protagonst, Sean Killian, Callahan's best friend and a fighting mate and good friend of Quinn's from back in the IRA in the 90's. Jane throughout the game will talk with Sean during "hangout sessions" and the two will become very close, with Sean helping her escape a group of thugs. Sean and Jane talk about things and do various activities during the "hangout sessions" and like the rest of the O'Leary family, Killian gets to know her quite well, and eventually the two begin flirting. Towards the end of the game, Jane is seen comforting Killian after Callahan is killed in a drive by. After Killian defeats Yuri Shelnov , she finally asks him to date her and he agrees. Jane is last seen in the arms of Killian with Patrick, her closest brother giving her a thumbs up and a smile.
