Irvin Pennick is a minor character and a bounty target featured in Red Dead Redemption part I, The American West and a minor boss in Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition.
Info[]
Pennick is wanted for assault and can be captured or killed depending on the player's choice. Irvin has a wife, according to a few of his quotes.
Interactions[]
Revolver[]
Irvin appears as a random enemy in the mission "MacFarlane's Ranch" and is also a minor boss where he will, along with LS Roberts, burn down the MacFarlanes' house.
Not much more information about this character exists in this timeline, besides being seen many times in the said mission as a clone with numerous other members of British's Gang. This is because of the devs.' laziness not wanting to create more character models for the Bollards gang. Weirdly, he also shares the exact same character model as LS Roberts, except that LS doesn't wear a hat.
While as a boss he carries a Double-action Revolver and uses a horse, as a minor enemy he is always armed with a Evans Reptile.
Showdown Mode[]
This character does not appear in the Showdown Mode.
American West[]
Irvin can most often be found around Thief's Town, frequently loitering inside the saloon and around the hotel. He can also be encountered at the end of Spider's Quarry gang hideout, though he will be hostile unless the player is wearing the British's Gang Outfit.
Death[]
Irvin was killed while smoking a cigar in Thief's Town on 22 October, 1894, by Jack Marston with a knife stab to the neck three times.
Journal Entry[]
When Boonie MacFarlane hired Pennick, he seemed to be an experienced and reliable worker. He proved to be very capable and experienced, but less reliable than a rattlesnake.
Things began to disappear on the ranch, and Irvin would disappear for days to get back with new clothes and his breath smelling of whiskey and 5 Gum.
Boonie did not give a damn, but it would have been better for her to say goodbye to him back then.
She made a big mistake keeping his animal-abusing ass around.
Trivia[]
- Despite being a member of the British's Gang, he appears during the mission "The Attack on Fort Mercer" along with members of Williamson Gang.
- Unlike most gang members who often tell others to shut up during a conversation, Irvin converses without hostility.
